It’s the final Tuesday of the 2021-22 NHL season and one of the busiest ones with 13 games. Here is our three-way parlay play with odds from BetOnline, one of BMR’s top-rated sportsbooks.

Calgary is my pick to win the Western Conference as long as the Flames stay healthy. So why would I fade them here? Well, I’m going to take Nashville on the puck line so technically I’m not, but in reality, Calgary has little to play for.
It has won the Pacific Division and can’t catch Colorado for the top seed in the West. Thus, I wouldn’t be shocked if a few starters were rested here.
Nashville, meanwhile, does need this game as it chases one of the two wild-card spots in the conference – the Preds currently hold down the top one with 94 points but only one point ahead of No. 2 Dallas and four ahead of Vegas. The Predators could clinch a spot with a win.

As good as the Flames are, they are 0-2 against Nashville this season – losing both by scores of 3-2. Perhaps play a Filip Forsberg points prop for Nashville. He had three points in Sunday’s overtime loss to Minnesota and is working on a five-game point streak.
Forsberg is third on the team with 80 points. Goaltender Juuse Saros is 25-13-0 at home this season with a 2.24 GAA and won both outings vs. the Flames. While I think there’s a good chance Nashville wins outright, let’s take the puck line to be safe. Calgary is just 2-5 on the NHL odds in its past seven vs. teams with a winning record.
NHL Pick: Predators +1.5 (-210) with BetOnline

This is arguably the most important game of the night in regards to the playoffs. Nashville currently holds down the No. 1 wild-card spot in the West with 94 points, while Dallas is No. 2 with 93 and Vegas No. 3 and on the outside looking in with 90 points.
If the Stars win this game in regulation, they earn a wild-card spot and Vegas is out. If the Stars win past regulation or lose Tuesday, then Vegas stays alive. “It’s huge,” the Stars’ Jamie Benn said. “It’s obviously what you want, to not rely on somebody else to do your job. We have a chance to get into the playoffs with a big win so that’s what we’re going to try to do.”
There was some confusion regarding Vegas over the weekend with one report that the season was over for No. 1 goaltender Robin Lehner but that report was denied by Coach Peter DeBoer. Lehner served as the backup to rookie Logan Thompson in Sunday’s crushing 5-4 home overtime loss to San Jose – the Knights’ home finale.

It will be Thompson again here as indeed Lehner is now done. Thompson is 9-5-1 with a 2.64 GAA and a .917 save percentage through 16 appearances.
Dallas snapped a three-game skid with a big 3-2 home win over Seattle on Saturday. Roope Hintz scored two goals, his second two-goal performance in the past four games. Vegas leads the season series 2-0 but both were very early in the season. The Knights are 1-6 in their past seven as road dogs. The Stars are 23-9 in their past 32 as home favorites.
NHL Pick: Stars (-108) with BetOnline

OK, I will admit this game is potentially dangerous in which to back the Canucks. They still are alive for a wild-card spot in the West, albeit barely. Vancouver would have been eliminated from postseason contention had the Golden Knights beat the visiting San Jose Sharks on Sunday as they should have.
The Sharks’ Timo Meier tied it at 4-4 with just 0.9 seconds left to force OT and then San Jose won in a shootout to keep the Canucks’ hopes alive.
To reach the playoffs, the Canucks must win their final three games, have Vegas win in regulation on Tuesday in Dallas, and then the Knights lose their last two in regulation while also having the Stars lose their final two in regulation after Tuesday. None of those are impossible but very unlikely, and I’m picking the Stars on Tuesday.

If the Canucks knew hours ahead of this game that they had no playoff chance, then I’d have bigger concerns backing them, but this game will start well before Vegas-Dallas ends. Expansion Seattle is one of the league’s worst teams and has only 11 road wins. The Kraken has been dominated in the season series, losing all three by at least three goals, and are just 5-18 vs. the Pacific Division.
Vancouver is 30-15-9 since Bruce Boudreau replaced Travis Green as a coach on Dec. 5: "We pushed from Dec. 5 until now, and I expect us for the next three games to keep pushing again," Boudreau said.
