How are you supposed to detain a strung out guy that's 100 pounds heavier than you that's resists?

GF was in the squad car, dumped his drugs in there then resisted...he resisted the cuffs, the movements directed by PD. Only when on the ground did he comply, either because his drugs wore off or he succumbed to the altercation...Idk, but I do know the world is a better place without the piece of shit and I'd vote Chauvin for President if he could repeat this act a few thousand times in MPLS to clean up the streets of the poor crime inducing element of felononeous black males.
What?

Floyd complied and then Chauvin held him down and went way beyond his scope of power. Who has to hold a guy down for 9 minutes? Much less putting his knee on his neck?

Chauvin killed a man who had a right to life

The thug was drugged out at the time with Meth/Fentanyl. The dude couldn't breathe before he even had a knee near his throat. Keep making a hero out of than and send your $$ to a fvcking thug piece of shit who was convicted too many times and shouldn't even been on the streets.
I’m not sending money to anyone. I don’t care if he was on drugs, he doesn’t die without a knee on his neck for 9 minutes. The jury convicted him and rightfully so. The evidence proved it was murder.

George Floyd’s past history is meaningless.

Derek Chauvin is not the judge, jury, and executioner.

What he did was murder. We have a 9 minute video of it. He will be a lifelong example of how NOT to handle things as a police officer

Again, you are going by what the media wanted you to see. Floyd asked to go to the ground as he could not breath in the police car. Watch the doc sharing things you did not see or hear about than give your opinion if he was murdered or just a thug drug addict that had too much fentanyl.

Well most peeps are set in their ways and will never change their views. Just the way it will always be. DC was convicted and saved the whole Country from being burned down and looted from thugs looking for their opportunity. Always going to have piece of shits looking for their opportunity to take what doesn't belong to them

Now let me ask you this about that trial.

Do you think it was fair?

I ask this because Chauvin could have dragged GF out of bed at night, in front of his family, and lynched him in the front yard while burning a cross and not received a harsher sentence....

Meanwhile, Maxine Waters, a congressional representative, is outside the Courthouse calling for a riot & violence if Chauvin is acquitted, along w Biden on TV making comments, to a public & unsequestered jury.

And yes, Floyd resisted arrest, this report sums up (very fairly) the issues w Floyd's resistance & his size, which ultimately led to Chauvin using a LEGAL and TRAINED technique to put him down.

I didn’t even watch the trial. Just because Maxine Watters is an idiot, we should forget this cop killed a guy? Floyd was controlled and restrained. The video was obvious to me. The officers actions caused his death and he has to bear responsibility for that. Regardless if Floyd is a criminal, that’s completely irrelevant.

I'm not sure if a US Rep calling for violence & mobilizing a crowd if she doesn't get her way is conduct becoming of fairness in a jury trial.

I felt a mistrial should been declared right there actually, let the dust settle and retry him.

Afterall, the whole Jan 6 BS is about Trump supposedly calling for a riot to get his way...

Cmon minny. Maxine Watters blathering and the President of the United States giving orders to his cult. That’s a huge difference. Not one person cares what she says. Trump leads a cult. Jan 6th was ugly, a disgrace and trump is certainly at least partly responsible for that. I don’t know how that’s debatable.

What are you talking about?

I watched the video from several angles

I watched a large amount of the trial. Chauvin had a great lawyer and the judge was slightly favorable to Chauvin, if anything

Chauvin was never going to overcome that evidence. Guilty beyond any reasonable amount

The whole BLM stuff is irrelevant to the fact that Chauvin murdered Floyd

Cops have been doing those same moves for what, decades?

You guys are gonna try and convince us that this incident in general, they did something wrong to Floyd, and it's just coincidence that he was all drugged up & already had health issues because of his habits, and that had absolutely nothing to do with his death?

C'mon....no...no....no!

And in the other hand, there a vid where some cops did the same thing to a guy who had REAL health issues, and they laughed and joked the entire time, before he just died

Now I that case the officers should have been charged

In the Floyd case, no....

If he was drugged up to the point of being in danger for his life, then he should’ve been taken immediately to the hospital. Not put on the ground and having a knee pressed on him by a cop for 9 minutes

What Chauvin did is indefensible no matter how you slice

btw it’s been pretty much unanimously concluded by any medical experts who have studied/been a part of the case that the amount of drugs in his system was so minimal that it was far from life threatening

But again....cops have been doing it forever

But a massive guy who has a guy barely any weight on him, who's light as a feather, and just this one time after allll these years, something bad happens

And it just happened, and didn't have anything to do with the guy drugged up?

C'mon guys y'all are pretty smart and can put 2 & 2 together

Chauvin was trying as hard as he could to plead guilty to 3rd degree murder because the evidence against him was so damning

DA threw that shit away because he knew he was doomed to be guilty for worse — and deservingly so
