Bucks coming out firing. This Indy team is too young, they might be able to win on their court but can’t see them winning in Milwaukee.
I agree I got fooled into taking this Indiana team today. They're too inexperienced to win a series in the playoffs this year. They may take a game or even 2 in Indiana but I think Milwaukee will eventually win this series especially all the playoff experience they have factoring in heavily here against a relatively inexperienced Indiana team.

Agreed. They are a year or two away. The original series price was about -350 and that was taking into account Giannis misses at least a game or two. I think the price said a lot.

OKC should get by New Orleans but I don’t think it will be all that easy. Pels got some vets who have experience. I think long layoff and little experience will hurt OKC.

Pels looking good. OKC was in a bad spot today with the layoff and first playoff game. OKC will probably settle in a lot more in game 2. If New Orleans wins today they can win the series. They need to steal this game if they want to do that. I didn’t watch OKC much, but my guess is they tried really hard in the regular season.

OKC is good but I agree with Chuck that they probably need another big. New Orleans matches up well with them inside because Chet is too light. If they had another big I think they'd take that next step but they're already pretty good for being such a young team.

0-1 Tuesday, 1-1 Wednesday, 117-104 total.

Clippers +3.5
Bucks +1.5
Pelicans +8.5

I see a lot of value in these teams without their star players. Clipps know how to play without Kawhi, other players will step up. I really like Bucks role players, I’ll take them as a short dog. Pelicans might have a little momentum having already played a couple games and I think they will be able to space the court better now.
Cash them, nice start to playoffs. 3-0 yesterday, 4-2 playoffs, 120-104 total.

Not sure if I will have a play today. Wouldn't surprise me if all three home teams cover and win and go up 2-0. I want to take Magic but not sure I can back them. They look like the typical young team that doesn't quite understand playoff basketball, they probably need to be at home to cover and win.

Sixers are interesting. I think most people are going to expect a zigzag on this series but not quite sure. Could easily see the home team winning every game. IMO it's Sixers or pass, I just can't back Knicks as a favorite as their style usually favors closer games.

In addition to sharp lines, there's bad (corrupt?) refs everywhere

The NBA has acknowledged that referees made four incorrect no-calls in the final two minutes of the New York Knicks' stunning victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night, including two crucial errors that directly impacted the outcome of the game.

Is the NBA going to do something about it?

2-0 yesterday, 6-2 playoffs, 122-104 total. Yesterday was a case of short home faves losing. I always talk about numbers, but never take a home favorite of less than three. Clipps blew out Mavs in game 1, got Kawhi back and were only favored by one. That line was begging for people to take Clipps. Also a star like Kawhi returning always screws up chemistry. Pacers figured something out in the second half of game 1 and it carried over to yesterdays game. Still think Bucks win the series, especially if Giannis is back.

I'm not sure I'd call them corrupt, but they can definitely be bad at times. Sixers got screwed, but there is nothing they can do. Maxey got fouled but he's got to hold onto that ball. Either way I think Philly ties it up 2-2.

Boston probably blows Miami out again, can't bet a game at that number though. I lean Pelicans at that line. They have a huge size advantage and these two teams feel pretty evenly matched. At first I thought OKC would be easy to back in game 2 as they should be more settled in but it's clearly a Pels line at 7.5. OKC is definitely a year or two away from being taken seriously.

0-1 yesterday, 6-3 playoffs, 122-105 total.

The Pels were a bad pick, I should have known OKC would come out relaxed, the game to back the Pels was game 1. Oh well. I want to take the Sixers but would have felt better about 4, it's up to 5.5 now. If the Lakers flip to a dog I'll probably take them. It's Magic or pass today.
