“Part of the challenge is verifying offers received are legitimate”

I would say that’s more than a small part of the issue - it’s 99% of it.

So DK offered a cash out offer of 75k - says more about how bad DK cash out is than anything

Allegedly someone offered 200k - I’d be interested to hear the legitimacy of said offer. Series with the Mavs is basically even right now - then you have T-wolves awaiting you if you make it past this round (I think they do) - before getting an “easy” series in the Finals.

Beyond my level of risk tolerance - but if he was offered 200k cash today - bettor needs to grab it - or at least hedge and keep 25% and take 150k.

He’d be looking at 100k after taxes and still have a decent chance at a payday.

Which state is the bettor in (how much tax applies on net winnings for the year)?
