Adding TCU ML -125
Really torn on which side to go with on this game. I think KSU pulls it out with Martinez playing for the whole game (unlike last matchup).

TCU has squeeked by so many times this season. 5 games were 1 score games. 2 of the other games with larger win margins required 4Q comebacks (21 vs Texas Tech, 13 vs West Virg). Either its destiny for this team to win or their luck may tap out at some point.

Tanko...not sure if it's cool to ask in this thread but here goes. Enikk suggested looking at betting quarters in NBA. I remember you followed up tracking it and maybe betting a few. Haven't heard you mention it again. Have you given up on this?
Not looking for the secret sauce ... Just trying to figure out some sort of edge betting crazy NBA personally. Thanks.

It was was hot then it was not.... I'd tell you the recipe if there was a good one.

What I discovered is teams were getting into a cycle on who played in each portion of the game. That was great because as long as they were consitently doing that, you could get a feel for how they would play in a given quarter. I use Lakers as an example. They were horrible in 1Q but were always outscoring teams in 2Q. It was clockwork for a while. Printing some money.

Then they changed up when rest periods would occur for Lebron, Westbrook, etc... So the cycle changed and the losing 1Q and winning of 2Q went down.

When the big dogs sit in in a game has a big impact on the results. When they change their rotation it gets messsy.

I stopped tracking it due to the inconsistency.

Many years ago I used to have a lot of success on NBA second halves

There are a lot of factors that played into the first half that odds-makers don't account for and if you have the time to check the second half lines as they come in along with certain stats and even foul trouble, you can find some nice advantages

Ok great thanks for going into such detail. I kind of figured you didn't find it worthwhile not hearing anything about it. Makes sense there would be those inconsistencies as rotations change.
Many moons ago I would say NBA was my best thing betting. I gave it up as the game is quite different now. I'm looking to get back into it as theres always an angle somewhere I figure. If I find anything I'd be glad to share. Thanks again.

Yes I used first and 2nd halfs all the time. What was especially great is books often had different numbers on 2nd halfs(rarely nowadays). Sometimes 2nd halfs we're 2 or more off on either spread or totals.
