OKC and Minnesota would have beat the Lakers also. The Lakers were not the second best team in the west
I disagree

I think OKC would really struggle with Lakers size. Lakers would've been favored over them most likely

Minnesota/Lakers would be a good series. Both teams would have issues scoring the ball I think. Would lean Lakers though because of their experience

Minnesota is not going to be able to slice and dice Jokic the way AD/LeBron did. Jokic had a horrible defensive series because of those two.

Wolves half court offense is really bad. Denver going to have a much easier time defending. Jokic in particular (though Murray will probably struggle)

Minnesota already has more playoff wins in 2 games than the Lakers had in 5. Denver nor the Lakers may be in the conference finals. Do you still think Denver and the Lakers are the two best teams in the west? I know you do.

Going into the playoffs I did but not anymore . Wolves have made me a fool

Minnesota has outperformed their regular season selves by a ton.

I think they are benefitting from physical play they are allowing more than anyone. Their youth is thriving defensively

I thought Minnesota would give Denver a run for their money but I didn't see them dominating this series completely through 2 games. I felt their defense gave them a chance in this series but right now they're dominating because their defense is elite and they're getting outstanding performaces from their stars on offense.

I had Denver/Dallas and looked like we’d get there

But this is a more interesting series

Low scoring
It won’t be low scoring. The stars will shine. Ant, Luka, Kyrie, and KAT will all average 25+ points per game. Dallas is not great defensively and they won’t control the boards. Minny won’t stop Luka and Kyrie from scoring either. I would take Minnesota in this series.

Dallas has been near the top of the league defensively for a while now

Minnesota is also not a great offensive team, especially with Gobert in there

Luka is banged up though he will get his. As Will Kyrie. But collectively buckets may be tough to get against the Wolves D

Tough series

I’m going to pick Dallas

Watch Luka act like he coming home from the war on defense. Acting hurt and limping and falling down. He can’t guard anyone on Minnesota and Kyrie isn’t disciplined enough to keep Conley from getting open looks. The Thunder would have faired much better if they had someone who could knock down open shots versus Chet Holgren taking all those perimeter 3’s.

Luka has been defending Ok When healthy

Dallas will guard Minnesota just fine

Wolves are very pedestrian offensively
