For those unfamiliar with Tresean Gore, a glimpse of his professional MMA record would naturally raise a red flag, with only four bouts recorded on his resume. However, the former Ultimate Fighter Season 28 competitor reached the competition’s final, and those successes weren’t recorded on his record.

Tresean Gore Fight Analysis
Gore, 28, fighting out of South Carolina, isn't equipped with decades of experience, but his talent on display has been noteworthy thus far. From sleeping in a car outside of the gym to joining the biggest MMA promotion on the planet.
Gore's backstory is emotional, but fortunately, he found a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu school aged 17. He eventually moved onto American Top Team (Team Lima), training with the likes of Diego and Douglas Lima.
Surprisingly, he doesn't stem from a background in college wrestling, his wrestling defense is solid, and his teammates will vouch – he's almost impossible to take down, and if you do, he'll pop straight back to his feet.
Gore Is a Well-Rounded Fighter
He was the betting favorite to win TUF: The Return of the Ultimate Fighter, and his first opponent on the show was college D1 wrestler Ryder Newman. Gore proved his fight intelligence and well-rounded skillset in this contest. He put the wrestler on his backfoot, landed damaging strikes, and stuffed the takedown attempts easily.
There's no denying that Gore is still green in his career, but I believe the UFC has a talented prospect on their hands who will only deliver an evolving skillset from fight to fight.
Gore vs. Brundage Betting Pick and Odds
Cody Brundage (7-2-0) will need a wrestling-heavy gameplan to overcome Gore, and unfortunately for him, Gore's takedown defense - as previously mentioned – is one of his standout attributes.
This leaves Brundage no choice but to strike with Gore, where he'll eat jabs, hooks, and low and high kicks all night long.
The best sportsbooks opened Curtis as a -105, and the odds are moving in his favor, now sitting at -135. However, I still think this is a great price and position to fade Brundage. I simply cannot envision Brundage dictating this fight through his grappling, and a knockout stoppage for Gore is also a possibility I wouldn't overlook.
