Alex Morono vs. Mickey Gall

UFC Welterweight Preliminary Bout

Saturday, December 04, 2021 – 08:05 PM EST at the UFC Apex Center

Alex Morono vs. Mickey Gall Betting Pick Analysis

Alex Morono (20-7-0) has built himself a 9-4 UFC record since joining the promotion in 2016. Training out of Fortis MMA and Gracie Barra Woodlands with 2nd-degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black to his name and a striking offense that's finished the likes of Donald' Cowboy' Cerrone inside the distance.

Mickey Gall (7-3-0) has spent 90% of his professional MMA career fighting for the UFC, initially being utilized to fight fellow inexperienced martial artists like CM Punk and Sage Northcutt. Gall has built a name for himself, and he's undoubtedly evolved whilst competing for the world's most elite MMA promotion.

UFC in Vegas 44 Parlay Prediction

The toughness of Gall is undeniable, but the glaring factor of his UFC tenure is his failing fights versus fighters with significant experience. Success can be found whenever Gall competes against martial artists of a similar level. However, once the level of competition is raised, you'll notice a struggle for the New Jersey native.

Alex Morono has looked sharped across his previous two bouts, and to be completely frank, I can't envision any area of this fight where Gall outclasses him.

Morono's boxing is more proficient; his top control and wrestling offense are stronger than Gall's. Gall is known for his ground game, but again, Morono is more skilled and levels above Gall in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Clay Guida vs. Leonardo Santos

UFC Lightweight Main Card Bout

Saturday, December 04, 2021 - 09:05 PM EST at the UFC Apex Center

39-year-old Clay Guida (36-21-0) has been competing under the UFC banner versus the world's elite martial artists for fifteen long years. It's a true testament to Guida's skill level when you realize he's managed to stay relevant throughout multiple generations of fighters.

Leonardo Santos (18-4-1) is another savvy UFC veteran, but extended periods of inactivity have stunted his growth as a household name. With that said, a 7-1 UFC record is all the evidence you need to understand how talented the Brazilian is.

UFC in Vegas 44 Parlay Prediction

Despite failing to stay relevant within the UFC talent pool, the Nova Uniao product that is Leonardo Santos hones the skills to compete with the likes of Clay Guida. The punching power, grappling ability, guard control, and scrambling skills are all present, not to mention that fierce right hand that flattened Stevie Ray following a 3-year layoff for Santos.

You'd never believe that Santos was 41 years old, and a lack of octagon activity has clearly favored his longevity. He'll own the speed and striking advantage over Guida with hips strong enough to fend away Guida's takedown attempts.

The available UFC odds with Bookmakers Review favor the Brazilian, and for a good reason, Guida has been through the trenches, and his recent outings have proven that he's lost a tiny spark of what he once had.
