From Singapore, the Ultimate Fighting Championship presents its 275th Pay-Per-View event with an interesting lineup that is deep on “star power” and questions on who will walk out a winner.

This is why I am here to answer those questions because…

  • A. I love to answer impossible questions
  •  B. I’m getting paid to do so
  • C. Validation

Zhang Weili vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk

Women’s Strawweight Bout

Saturday, June 11, 2022 – 09:05 PM EDT at Singapore Indoor Stadium

How to Bet on This Event?

But seriously UFC is throwing a lot at the wall with two title fights and a HIGHLY anticipated rematch acting as the top of the card this Saturday night, but the issue is we know one fight has a definitive winner in Valentina Shevchenko, but according to BetOnline she is a -550 favorite.

How can I in any good conscience tell my readers that you have to lock a bet on something that will give you a pittance for a return, and I am not telling you to be on Talia Santos on the off-chance that at +400 (per BetOnline) she is able to stop and drop the most dominant fighter in the entire company.

UFC Lock

But, I do have to give you people a lock, as I continue to draw the short straw amongst the MMA writers on the staff and since I love you people, I am gonna give you what you need to make it through to this Saturday night and make a smart and logical lock for the card.

[Side note: I kinda love the under for the Shevchenko fight at +130, I don’t think Valentina is gonna want to play with her food here and may get the stop early.]

Where’s the Value?

It’s hard to bet against a defending champion… but in a division like the UFC light heavyweight division, the only thing we’re certain of is the rampant amount of uncertainty, especially with Glover Texeira shocking all known universes with a win over Jan Blachowicz in late 2021.

That theme of uncertainty has crept into every crevice of this main card, but there is something.

Weili vs. Jedrzejczyk Last Fight Recap

Zhang Weili and Joanna Jedrzejczyk’s last fight was one of if not the fight of 2021 and now that we’re running it back and we know a lot about both of these fighters, one thing creeps into my mind… if this is a five-round fight, it doesn't go the distance.

But, with this being a three-rounder as the co-co-main event on the card, one has to think that the UFC odds will be in favor of this one going the distance and seeing some more insanity from two of the most dangerous humans to ever walk the planet.

Weili vs. Jedrzejczyk Betting Pick

In my humble “expert” opinion, the best betting odds for this weekend’s card come from BetOnline by taking any of the fighters by points, but with everything going on and how Joanna looked the last time they squared off, I am taking Zhang by points (+140) and if you want to bank on this going the distance at -210, well peace be with you.
