The women take the center stage at the French Open as the semifinals are the only matches being played today.

Let’s take a look at the four remaining players and find more winning tennis picks.

Iga Swiatek vs. Daria Kasatkina

Thursday, June 02, 2022 – 09:00 AM EDT Court Philippe Chatrier

Daria Kasatkina Analysis

Daria Kasatkina is moving up in the WTA rankings with the first Grand Slam semifinal appearance of her career.

Kasatkina has yet to drop a set here at the French Open. Her play has been absolutely spectacular.

Kasatkina had an excellent lead-up to this tournament as well, making the semifinal in Rome before falling to Ons Jabeur.

Kasatkina has racked up wins against plenty of big-name players en route to her match here today. Unfortunately, she now faces the biggest name in the sport, the world's undisputed top player, Iga Swiatek.

Iga Swiatek the World’s Undisputed Top Player

In what was a surprise to no one, Iga Swiatek won another match and covered betting odds again.

Swiatek has only lost one set here so far at this tournament, to Quinwen Zheng in the quarterfinals.

Swiatek got another routine win by defeating Jessica Pegula 6-3, 6-2. It was another win and another cover for the world's best player.

I tried to go against Swiatek in the round of 16 and that was a heartbreaking loss. After an excellent first set, Zheng fell short as it appeared physical cramping hampered her ability to keep her play at a high level.

Unfortunately, Zheng was one of the best matchups against Swiatek. Swiatek is such a strong defensive player that other defensive players (like the remaining French Open field) will struggle against her.

Swiatek will be most vulnerable to a power player who can hit winners and play her off the court. With all the power players eliminated, Swiatek seems to have an easy path to the title.

Is Iga Swiatek Will Cover the Odds?

If it isn't broken, you shouldn't fix it. This seems to be the case with betting on Iga Swiatek. She is head and shoulders above the field and once again it seems that she will win and cover WTA odds.

As much as Kasatkina's recent level of play has been a joy to watch, she stylistically does not match up well with Swiatek.

Kasatkina Will Lack of Power

Swiatek can match her defensively, and Kasatkina will lack the power to put pressure on Swiatek.

In what will be a recurring theme for probably the rest of the WTA season, our first best bet for today's French Open semifinal is Iga Swiatek -6 games.

Martina Trevisan vs. Coco Gauff

Thursday, June 02, 2022 - 10:15 AM EDT at Court Philippe Chatrier

Martina Trevisan Winning Streak

Martina Trevisan comes into today's match on a 10-game win streak. Trevisan won the WTA event in Rabat, Morocco before heading to Paris to play in the French Open.

Trevisan is a WTA veteran at the age of 28 and is currently ranked 59th in the world. The Italian player is definitely at her best on clay and has achieved the best Grand Slam result of her career this fortnight.

Trevisan is your typical defensive clay court player. She has excellent court coverage and relies on defense and consistency to coax errors from her opponents.

Trevisan can put away shots when she has a distinct advantage. Yet she rarely forces anything and is instead content to wait out her opponents and trust her defensive abilities.

Coco Gauff a High-profile American Prospect

Coco Gauff is a high-profile American prospect who has taken the American tennis world by storm. Gauff's ability at such a young age has garnered worthy attention.

At only 18, Gauff also has the poise of someone much older. Gauff is completely committed to the game and is constantly improving.

When Gauff first arrived on tour, her serve was the biggest weakness in her game. She has fixed her serve in quite a short time and it is now a formidable weapon in its own right.

Currently, Gauff's biggest weakness is on her forehand side, where she can be a little passive and has lacked consistency.

Gauff Constantly Improvement

However, Gauff is always working on the weaknesses in her game and her forehand has gotten better as the season has progressed.

If Gauff continues to work on her forehand, she will eventually be one of the most well-rounded players on tour and a difficult task for anybody to defeat.

I think this will be a close match between two players who are playing at the best of their abilities right now.

Both these women are in fine form and have earned the right to be called French Open semifinalists.

Trevisan vs. Gauff: Betting Pick

The WTA odds on Coco Gauff are too heavy and there is slight value on the Trevisan moneyline, but the over is the much safer play.

I expect a hard-fought match between two women for the right to be in the final. Our second bet for the French Open is Martina Trevisan/Coco Gauff Over 20.5 games.
