Milan keeps rolling and now, they have a great opportunity to send a threatening message out to the rest of Serie A. The match Roma-Milan will tell us if they really are able to overcome any obstacle which is exactly what Juventus has proved incapable of doing.

The Vecchia Signora is at risk of losing a lot if they keep falling apart in their away fixture at Verona. We cap it off with an underdog pick with great Serie A odds in the Genoa vs. Venezia match so let’s get into it!

AS Roma vs. AC Milan

Sunday, October 31, 2021 – 02:45 PM EDT at Stadio Olimpico

It's an unbelievable record for Milan so far this season: nine wins and one draw in their first 10 games is tied for their best start in the last 67 years: Last time it happened was back in 1954 when they were trained by the famous Bela Guttman, who later went on to take Benfica and win European Cup back-to-back before leaving with his infamous curse (google it if you want to get shocked).

But, most important of all, that Milan squad went on to win the league. This season it could happen again but this time they face the competition of Napoli, who are tied with the same points and while playing a less entertaining football brand than Milan, they have been way more solid.

Also, in their last few games, Milan has had to survive several situations: against Torino, the team won 1-0 although they did risk conceding the draw several times despite playing with an ugly, defensive style. Against Bologna, they won 2-4 thanks to two late scores in the last seven minutes, in spite of playing the last half hour with two more players! On top of that, against Verona and Spezia they saved their neck at the very last moment, and that's not even taking into consideration their flat performance in Champions against Porto.

Nobody can't blame them though, with all the injuries they are suffering but they are definitely living on the edge. Meanwhile, Roma had to rise back after the humiliating 6-1 at Bodoe/Glimt, and they did it by halting first the Napoli perfect run, and then winning with a late gasp in Cagliari during the midweek round.

Jose Mourinho knows it is gonna be hard so he is going to concede very little space, and would be happy to snap a point as he did against Napoli, hoping to limit Ibrahimovic, who'll finally be starting.

Hellas Verona vs. Juventus Turin

Saturday, October 30, 2021 - 12:00 PM EDT at Stadio Bentegodi

Juventus had a fantastic streak of wins, all of them with a 1-nil score. Then they stole a point at Inter even without deserving it. Straight after that, they finally got a stretch of seemingly manageable games starting with Sassuolo at home. That was the perfect moment for Massimiliano Allegri to raise his game which, up to this point, has consisted of pure catenaccio and counter-attacking in order to protect the fragile Juve defense.

Alas! Against Sassuolo, once again, Juventus put a display of all the issues that have been affecting the team this season. Now, in Verona, it will be even harder as the Scaligeri has lost only one of their last seven home games since IgorTudor took over as coach!

While it's true that they were beaten by both Roma and Lazio (the latter by 4-1!), they did come close to beating Milan at home, losing 3-2 after leading 0-2 for 60 minutes. This is a red alarm for Juve, because Verona is intense and confident, exactly what the Bianconeri are missing at the moment, in spite of having the best overall squad in all Serie A.

Genoa CFC vs. Venezia FC

Sunday, October 31, 2021 - 10:00 AM EDT at Stadio Marassi

Venezia was robbed of a point against Salernitana for one of those modern football red cards. Meanwhile, Genoa is on the verge of collapsing as they only have one win in the whole season, and their skipper Davide Ballardini (who's saved them several times from relegation) now sees his job at stake, with the shadow of Andrea Pirlo over him.

Venezia plays a careless brand of football. Genoa has a lot of pressure but also the support of a warm ground and their great supporters. With that said, we are getting superb odds on the draw so let's take the tie for our last Serie A pick.
