New York City FC vs. New England Revolution
Saturday, July 09, 2022 – 01:00 PM EDT at Yankee Stadium
NYCFC are favorites to win at the expense of New England Revolution as per the top-rated sportsbooks. These are two of the top playoff contenders in the Eastern Conference, with NYCFC (8-5-4) currently ranked 4th and New England Revolution (6-7-5) ranked 7th.
What stands out here in terms of the betting is the offensive potency of both teams. This is reflected in the total for this game, which is projected at 3 across the MLS odds board.
They’re two of the highest-scoring teams – NYCFC have 33 goals and the Revs 29 – in the league. The hosts have the advantage on defense, having conceded just 19 in 17 matches. New England has allowed 28 goals in 18 matches. But if both sides are sharp, this may well be a high-scoring affair.
Seattle Sounders vs. Portland Timbers
Saturday, July 09, 2022 – 04:30 PM EDT at Lumen Field
The Seattle Sounders (8-2-7) are clinging on to the seventh spot in the Western Conference standings while the in-form Portland Timbers (5-8-6) are looking to catch up to the leading pack.
Bookmakers are high on the Sounders. So, too, the power rankings that list Seattle fourth overall in the league. Thus, the Timbers go into this game as pretty hefty underdogs. However, the Timbers are a tough out and the betting odds belief their solid form that includes a run of four unbeaten. This could be a closer contest than the sports betting sites would have it.

CF Montreal vs. Sporting Kansas City
Saturday, July 09, 2022 – 07:30 PM EDT at Saputo Stadium
CF Montreal (9-2-7) are up to third in the East while Sporting Kansas City (4-4-11) prop up the West. It’s safe to say, these two sides couldn’t be enjoying more contrasting fortunes in 2022.
As would be expected given the gap in quality in this interconference showdown, the host are odds-on to take all three points. Sporting Kansas City might as well just ship the points as they boast a league-worst .84 points per game.
FC Cincinnati vs. New York Red Bulls
Saturday, July 09, 2022 – 07:30 PM EDT at Red Bull Arena
The odds for this fascinating top-tier Eastern Conference showdown are tighter than an accountant’s purse, with both sides trading on plus money. The implication is clear: it’s anybody’s game to win.
New York Red Bulls (9-5-5) are soaring in the East behind a solid form. They clinched their second-straight win and fourth in the last five last weekend after beating Sporting Kansas City 1-0.
The Red Bulls have a two-point lead over Philadelphia Union, one they’ll be keen to protect this weekend. But Cincinnati FC (7-4-7) won’t be an easy out. Ranked fifth in the East and undefeated in their last four (1-3-0), they’ll make the hosts work for it.

Orlando City SC vs. Inter Miami CF
Saturday, July 09, 2022 – 08:00 PM EDT at Exploria Stadium
Of all the matchups on Saturday’s soccer betting slate, this might the toughest to call, despite the lopsided market that is on offer as neither side strikes a particularly convincing pose or inspires confidence.
Orlando City (7-4-7) slipped to sixth in the East following a 5-3 defeat to D.C United in the last round of MLS action. Inter Miami (6-4-7) is merely three points behind and ninth in the standings after picking up a 1-1 draw with Dallas.
Real Salt Lake vs. Colorado Rapids
Saturday, July 09, 2022 – 10:00 PM EDT at Rio Tinto Stadium
Rio Tinto Stadium is going to be hopping this weekend as Real Salt Lake welcomes Colorado Rapids for a pivotal MLS showdown that is cornered in the hosts’ camp.
RSL (8-5-5) is third in the Western Conference standings seven points adrift of first-placed LAFC. However, they’re merely five points clear of eighth-placed Minnesota.
Real Salt Lake can’t afford to leak points and hold their place in the conference’s Top 7. Colorado Rapids (5-4-8) are wholly off-pace with 19 points through 17 matches and in 12th place. The visitors are winless in their last four and boast merely two wins in their last eight fixtures.
Soccer Pick: Real Salt Lake (+103) at Heritage Sports
