SSC Napoli vs. Torino FC

Saturday, October 01, 2022 – 09:00 AM EDT at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona

Team Analysis

After almost winning their third league title last season, Napoli have bounced back stronger this season, and look by far the best team in Italy right now, and the fact they sit top of the table proves it.

Although they did have a similar start last season and fell by the wayside.

After starting the season with three wins and one tie, Torino have since plummeted to old habits, losing three of their previous four games, they are currently sitting in 9th position.

Scoring has been an issue this season as they are currently the lowest-scoring team inside the top 10.

SSC Napoli vs. Torino FC: Betting Odds and Pick

Napoli are a cut above everyone else this season, we were very surprised to find their betting odds at -140 as we were expecting them to be in around -175, which we expect they should close the line around here closer to kick-off.

Napoli have scored 15 goals this season, the joint highest in the league and we expect them to keep that form up here at home against Torino, it’s a big game post International break and they won’t want to slip up.

It’s been 12 games since Napoli last lost on home soil.

Predicted Score: Napoli 2 - 0 Torino

Soccer Pick: SSC Napoli to Win (-140) at BetOnline (visit our BetOnline Review)

Liverpool FC vs. Brighton and Hove Albion FC

Saturday, October 01, 2022 - 10:00 AM EDT at Anfield

Team Analysis

Liverpool FC

It’s been a very underwhelming start to the league for Liverpool this season. They are currently 9 points (with 1 game in hand) behind league leaders Arsenal and surprisingly 4 points behind today’s opponents Brighton.

New Signing Darwin Nunez was firing on all cylinders before he got suspended for a red card, Diego Jota has missed the start of the season and Mo Salah has been playing well below par, only scoring 2 goals in 6 games.

Brighton and Hove Albion FC

After all of Graham Potters' years of getting Brighton where he wanted them, they finally seem to have achieved that this season as they currently sit in 4th position with a 4-1-1 record.

Unfortunately, Chelsea snatched Graham Potter away prior to the International break. Ex Sassuolo and Shakhtar Donetsk coach Roberto De Zerbi has been appointed, he will deploy exciting tactics but questions remain if he can keep the same level as Potter.

Liverpool vs. Brighton: Betting Odds and Pick

This is all about the goals and we believe this game is set up to be a goal fest, not only will Liverpool be eager to come back stronger after the two-week break, but Brighton will also be up for this one with players trying to learn new tactics, impress their new coach, etc.

Although we are boldly predicting a 3-2 home win, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a 3-0 / 2-1 or 2-2 final scoreline.

Predicted Score: Liverpool 3 - 2 Brighton

Soccer Pick: Over 2.5 Goals (-143) at BetOnline

Manchester City FC vs. Manchester United FC

Sunday, October 02, 2022 - 10:00 AM EDT at Etihad Stadium

Team Analysis

Manchester City

It’s been 2014 since Manchester City last beat rivals Manchester United in 3 consecutive games, this could be their best chance to do so with the Norwegian sensation Erling Haaland (7 games, 11 goals) leading the line.

Despite being just 1 point behind league leaders Arsenal, Manchester City will be confident of another Premier League title with the formidable team they seem to have put together this season.

Manchester United

After losing their first two Premier League games, Manchester United have since bounced back with 4 wins in a row and still remain undefeated.

The red devils are 5 points behind today's rivals Manchester City but do have a game in hand, meaning a win here could potentially see them leapfrog their dual city rivals.

Manchester City vs. Manchester United: Betting Odds and Pick

To be honest, this all boils down to one factor, can Manchester United stop Haaland? Of course the simple answer is no, and although they may struggle to do so, even if they do so they will only expose themselves to leaving more incredible strikers and goalscorer’s in with a shot on goal.

Manchester United may be able to get at their defense and score possibly 1 or 2 goals, but we see a comfortable City win and don’t be surprised to see Manchester United get a red card in this encounter.

Let’s roll with the home team and over 2.5 goals to wrap up this weekend’s parlay at +340.

Predicted Score: Manchester City 3 - 1 Manchester United

Soccer Pick: Manchester City to Win + Over 2.5 Goals (-125) at BetOnline
