We came close to cashing our Parlay last week, a very rare Atletico and under 4.5 play lost as they beat Cadiz 4-1. This week we are playing it safe as we believe this could be a crazy weekend for results given most of these teams had midweek action in their respective leagues and cups. Let’s see the betting odds.

RCD Espanyol Barcelona vs. Rayo Vallecano

Sunday, December 05, 2021 – 08:00 AM EST at Campo de Futbol de Vallecas

Sixth place Rayo Vallecano have been playing well above par this season as they were only just promoted last season, but their opponents are also punching above their weight as they too were only promoted this season. What we love about both these teams is that they are actually better than five or six teams in the Spanish league. Take this into consideration for your betting picks.

Rayo this season has seen the second most amount of home games to go over 2.5 goals per game, and their home games have averaged 2.7 goals per game. Espanyol has seen an average of 2.1 goals per game away from home. We are going to lay the juice here and take over 1.5 match goals at -333. To lay a little less juice a combo with over 3.5 cards is bringing us odds of -130 which we think is a solid play as a single bet.

Borussia Dortmund vs. Bayern Munich

Saturday, December 4, 2021 – 12:30 PM EST at Signal Iduna Park

Munich has been dipping in a form in recent weeks, and by a dip in the form we mean they got beat 2-1 against Augsburg and only beat Armenia Belfield 1-0 at home. Other than that they haven’t really done much wrong. Their dip in form still tends to bring wins. Interestingly there is just one point separating the two teams at the top of the table, with Munich holding the first position for now.

Dortmund has not won the league since 2011/12, since then Munich has won every league title. This could be the first chance to dethrone Munich as a one-point gap isn’t much after 13 games played, usually, by now Munich has built a 4/5 point lead. That said this is at the very least a “must not lose” game fortis Dortmund’s side because a four-point gap between Munich and 2nd place could be almost them placing one hand on the trophy already because Munich doesn’t slip up twice in one season.

Dortmund has won all seven home games this season, the most in the Bundesliga. Munich has the second-best away record with seven wins, one tie, and one loss. We are going to take over 2.5 goals in this one here as 8 of the last 10 meetings seen over 2.5 goals cash, Dortmund has averaged 3 goals at home this season and Munich averages 3.2 away goals. This game could see 4 or 5 goals.

Tottenham vs. Norwich

Sunday, December 5, 2021 – 9.00 AM EST at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Tottenham faces Norwich this weekend and this play is pretty straightforward, as it’s more so to do with Norwich’s poor run of form and struggles as of late. A managerless Tottenham would probably beat this Norwich side and although they have been struggling themselves under new coach Antonio Conte, they will prove to be strong against the Premier Leagues 17th place team.

Tottenham has also been very strong at home against weaker teams in recent months as they have not lost on home soil to a team outside the top 10 in their previous 20 games. Norwich has conceded 2.2 goals away from home thus far this season. We are happy to lay the -250 on the home side here despite their struggles of late and we believe they will most likely win this game by at least two goals.
