England vs. Iran

Monday, November 21, 2022 – 08:00 AM EST at Khalifa International Stadium

Mehdi Taremi (Iran - Striker)

  • Anytime Goalscorer

The Iranian striker is by far the danger man on this team, as the market suggests he is the favorite to score anytime on the Iranian team but is still coming in as high as +600. It’s absurd to think there are 13 English players ahead of him in this market, half of those 13 won’t even start.

Taremi has been a sensation since going to Portugal in July 2019, scoring 83 goals in 146 appearances, which is a very high strike rate scoring a goal 57% of the time.

International Strike Rate

His international strike rate is equally impressive scoring 28 goals in 58 appearances, a strike rate of 48%. There’s no reason to believe Iran won’t be somewhat competitive here, they will get chances and all Taremi only needs one strike to score, +800 seems like value in our opinion as we would have expected him to be around +500/+600.

He is a player who is in ret hot form having netted 9 times in his previous 16 games in all competitions, he deserves a lot more respect than his current odds as this English team can be vulnerable.

World Cup Pick: Mehdi Taremi Anytime Goalscorer at +800 at BetOnline

Senegal vs. Netherlands

Monday, November 21, 2022 – 11:00 AM EST at Al Thumama Stadium

Ismaila Sarr (Senegal - Striker)

  • Anytime Goalscorer

With the absence of Sadio Mane we are looking for Ismaila Sarr to step up his attacking role for the Senegalese. The 24-year-old has a prolific goalscoring record considering he is often not the main striker, playing a support or backup role.

Yet that said Sarr has scored 10 goals in 36 international games and for club he has scored 53 times in 219 games. These are good numbers considering he is still young and clearly getting better each season. Sarr to score anytime against the Netherlands at +500 is a fair set of odds to be getting on one of Senegal’s main threats.

We expect an open game here and believe Senegal will get their fair share of chances, this is Sarr’s chance to step up to the plate now that Mane is sidelined.

USA vs. Wales

Monday, November 21, 2022 – 02:00 PM EST at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium

Kieffer Moore (Wales - Striker)

  • Anytime Goalscorer

It’s funny, although the USA are favorites to win here at +130 compared to Wales’s +240, Gareth Bale is the favorite to score at +250, which is a little contradictive don’t you think.

We are looking a little further down the betting market and will be taking Wales striker Kieffer Moore to score anytime at +350.

Second Favorite

He is Wales' second favorite to score behind Gareth Bale. Moore is a big in your face type of forward, an old fashioned style striker. He doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty, often picking up cards, scoring goals and just being a nuisance in general to the opposing team.

Moore should be able to put it up to the USA centre backs and he has a strong goalscoring record with 9 goals in 28 games for Wales. Throughout his club career he has scored 121 goals in 355 games played.

World Cup Pick: Kieffer Moore Anytime Goalscorer at +350 at BetOnline

Weston McKennie (USA - Midfielder)

  • Anytime Goalscorer

Although it was unclear if Weston McKennie was going to be fit for the World Cup, he has declared himself fit in the past 24 hours, we are unsure if he will start but if so, we very much like his odds at +650 to score anytime.

McKennie is notorious for coming through with a goal when his team really needs one, we believe +650 is a very high set of World Cup odds to be getting on a midfielder who likes to shoot and has scored 9 times in 37 appearances, a nice return for a midfielder.
