A young 21-year-old Clay Collard was competing in the UFC, and despite losing his contract, it’s difficult to discredit the career trajectory of the Las Vegas, Nevada native.Outside of professional MMA, Collard has evolved his striking offense in competitive boxing competitions and, most impressively, is his work rate.
He’s fought on over twenty occasions since 2018 in MMA and boxing. His debut for PFL came against the former UFC champion in Anthony Pettis, and Collard dominated – proving his worth. Raush Manfio doesn’t own the experience of Collard, but he certainly knows how to fight. He steers towards a counter-striking style which Collard will need to be wary of. Training out of American Top Team with the likes of Dustin Poirier and Edson Barboza, his lack of experience can be made up inside the gym.
We cannot ignore the striking offense of both men, but Collard’s fight-IQ and experience should heavily assist him in this fight. I anticipate a competitive matchup, but Collard’s output and durability should sway the judges’ scorecards.

Another Russian prospect is fighting under the tutelage of Khabib Nurmagomedov. Because we no longer have the ability to bet on Khabib, we’ll have to make the most out of his students. Jokes aside, Umalatov provides a well-rounded skill set and doesn’t just deliver a high-level grappling offense.
As we witnessed during his PFL debut versus Kyron Bowen, the power in his hands is now undeniable. The juice is high, but I believe Umalatov is the perfect parlay addition to bring us into plus money value.
