- Overall NHL Article Plays This Season: 111-76
New York Islanders vs. Boston Bruins
Saturday, February 18, 2023 – 05:00 PM EST at TD Garden
David Pastrnak (Boston Bruins)
- Anytime Goalscorer
Saturday games have been Pastrnak’s specialty this season having scored 11 times in 12 games, making this his most productive day of the week in front of goals, with his second best being six goals scored on Mondays and Thursdays.
Pastrnak is scoreless against only five teams this season, the Islanders being one of them. Given the fact that he loves a Saturday goal and is on home ice having had an extra rest day than today’s opponents, we very much like his odds at +100 to find the back of the net against an Islanders team who are on a back-to-back.
Pastrnak failed to score last time out having scored in 7 of his previous 13 games. It’s very rare Pastrnak goes back-to-back games without a goal (just five times in 54 games).

Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Dallas Stars
Saturday, February 18, 2023 – 06:00 PM EST at American Airlines Center
Jason Robertson (Dallas Stars)
- Over/Under Shots
Despite the Dallas Stars being on a back-to-back here, they are on home ice and facing one of the worst teams in the NHL right now. Jason Robertson has been the Stars' main man this season, averaging a total of 3.9 shots per game.
Facing a Blue Jackets team that allows the 3rd most amount of shots per game, take Robertson to have 4+ game shots in this matchup at -115 with Texas betting sites.
We are more than happy to bet Robertson to have a bounce-back spot tonight following just two shots on net last night in the Dallas Stars' 2-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild.
Robertson has averaged exactly 4 shots per game on a Saturday this season (his most on any given day), and on home ice this season, has picked up 4.2 shots per game.
NHL Prop Pick: Over 3.5 Shots (-115) at Heritage Sports (visit our Heritage Sports Review)

Montreal Canadiens vs. Toronto Maple Leafs
Saturday, February 18, 2023 – 07:00 PM EST at Scotiabank Arena
Auston Matthews (Toronto Maple Leafs)
- Over/Under Assists
Despite Auston Matthews being more of a prolific goalscorer than a playmaker, we are prepared to take him to grab an assist tonight at NHL odds of -110.
Matthews has struggled in front of goal this season and has had more assists than goals thus far. In each of his previous six seasons, he has ended the regular season with more goals than assists.
Matthews had an assist last time out when he faced the Chicago Blackhawks and has had zero goals and one assist in two games against the Montreal Canadiens this season. Most importantly Matthews is not worth laying the -200 juice to score anytime tonight; take the assist which is much better value.
NHL Prop Pick: Over 0.5 Assists (-110) at BetOnline

New York Rangers vs. Calgary Flames
Saturday, February 18, 2023 – 10:00 PM EST at Scotiabank Saddledome
Elias Lindholm (Calgary Flames)
- Over/Under Shots
We are targeting the Calgary Flames' Elias Lindholm to see under 1.5 shots here on home ice at some really nice plus-money odds at +150.
Despite Lindholm having had 2+ shots in 66% of his games this season, we are expecting some regression as Lindholm had a whopping 4 shots in the Flames' previous outing. This was just the 18th time in 54 games that Lindholm managed 3+ game shots.
The NY Rangers have allowed only 29.4 shots per game this season, which is the 7th best in the league. Lindholm faced the Rangers once this season, ending the game with zero shots. Let’s hope for more of the same tonight.
NHL Prop Pick: Under 1.5 Shots (+140) at Bovada (visit our Bovada Review)

Buffalo Sabres vs. San Jose Sharks
Saturday, February 18, 2023 – 10:30 PM EST at SAP Center
Victor Olofsson (Buffalo Sabres)
- Over/Under Points
Our final selection is the late puck drop in California where the Sharks play host to the traveling Buffalo Sabres.
Taking a look at the Sabres' Victor Olofsson, we are liking his odds at +110 with New York betting sites to pick up just one game point in tonight’s matchup. The Buffalo Sabres average 3.7 goals per game (2nd best in the league) whilst their opponents the Sharks allow the 4th most goals against (3.64).
Olofsson has had his best spell for the Sabres since the turn of the year having now scored a point in 52% of his games. Compare that to 2022 when he managed to score a point in just 35% of his games.
This is a nice bounce-back spot for Olofsson having failed to score a point last time out against the league’s worst defense in the Anaheim Ducks. He also scored a point the last time he faced this San Jose team.
NHL Prop Pick: Over 0.5 Points (+110) at BetOnline
