The Tampa Bay Lightning took a heavy beating on the road last night when their division and state rivals beat them 7-1, although the Lightning are on a back to back, we believe they can beat the travelling San Jose sharks on home ice and we are betting their top goalscorer this season Brayden Point to find the back of the net at +115 with BetOnline.
Point has scored 29 goals thus far this season for the Lightning and since the start of 2023 he has scored 8 goals in 14 games and 21 goals in his previous 25 NHL games dating back to last year. The San Jose Sharks allow 3.75 goals per game which is the 4th worst in the NHL.

We are looking to take Timo Meier to have a big bounce back spot tonight in terms of shots as he has only seen a total of 9 shots across his previous 4 NHL games, which is very low considering Meier has taken the 2nd most amount of shots in the NHL this season (only having taken two less than Jack Hughes of the NJ Devils).

McDavid has been on fire in front of the posts this season having scored 41 goals he leads the NHL with the most goals scored and he is just three goals shy of his previous regular season best of 44 goals, despite having played 30 fewer games.
McDavid is projected to end the season with 67 goals and although we are laying some small juice here, we like the league’s best player to find the back of the net tonight at (-105).

When it comes to McDavid’s deadly duo partner, Leon Draisaitl has been either crushing his over 2.5 shot total or going under, his consistency has been very poor but with that said we don’t mind laying (-135) for Draisaitl to see 3+ shots against this Red Wings team.
Draisaitl has seen 3+ shots in 68% of his games this season, which is (-200) in betting odds. Again we are laying some heavy juice but still picking up some small value on Draisaitl’s shot total over 2.5.
