We are loving today’s 10-game NHL betting card.

It has presented us with some nice value picks for our NHL player props today with all three selections coming in at plus money.

Let’s hope to keep this profitable streak rolling, as we profited for the second straight article last time going 2-1 as both our winners cashed at (-125) and (+170).

  • Overall NHL Article Plays This Season: 119-85

Picks Summary:

  • Steven Stamkos (Tampa Bay Lightning) – Anytime Goalscorer (+125)
  • Kyle Connor (Winnipeg Jets) – Over 3.5 Shots (+110)
  • Erik Karlsson (San Jose Sharks) – Over 1.5 Points (+150)

Florida Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Lightning

Tuesday, February 28, 2023 – 07:00 PM EST at Amalie Arena

Steven Stamkos (Tampa Bay Lightning)

Anytime Goalscorer

  • Goals Scored: 26
  • Goals Assisted: 35
  • Shots Per Game: 3.33

Steven Stamkos teammates Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point have been having all the fun in front of the net in recent games, combined scoring 11 goals since the all-star break, while Stamkos has only scored twice in his previous 13 games, both times he scored the Lightning ended up on the losing side.

It’s not all bad though, Stamkos is still very much a threat in front of goals, as he proved at the start of the season scoring 1/2/1/2 goals in his first four games.

This is a must-win game for both teams, and Stamkos has already scored two goals in three games against this Panthers team who allow 3.58 goals per game.

We are siding with (+125) for Stamkos to get on the scoreboard tonight against this divisional rival, we feel the Lightning will look to hand back the 7-1 loss they suffered at the hands of Florida last time these teams faced.

Los Angeles Kings vs. Winnipeg Jets

Tuesday, February 28, 2023 – 08:00 PM EST at Canada Life Centre

Kyle Connor (Winnipeg Jets)

Over/Under Shots

  • Goals Scored: 26
  • Goals Assisted: 40
  • Shots Per Game: 3.46

We couldn’t say no to plus money with Kyle Connor to have over 3.5 shots at +110 with Heritage in this home game against the Los Angeles Kings.

Connor has been hitting a very solid 3.46 shots per game, and it jumps right up to 3.70 per game when playing on home ice. This is a must-win game for the Jets, and even more importantly because it’s against a direct rival.

The Jets have gone 1-5 in their last six games, we suspect Connor will be tasked with getting his team going offensively and we are prepared to bet on his over shots in this NHL matchup.

Connor has been the Jets’ best shot-taker having had 39 more shots than the second-best despite having played the same number of games.

Montreal Canadiens vs. San Jose Sharks

Tuesday, February 28, 2023 – 10:30 PM EST at SAP Center

Erik Karlsson (San Jose Sharks)

Over/Under Points

  • Goals Scored: 19
  • Goals Assisted: 58
  • Shots Per Game: 2.50

This is one of the best value picks on the board today, Erik Karlsson over 1.5 points at (+150) is a nice set of odds on home ice, where Karlsson has already scored 44 points in 29 games played.

Karlsson has 77 total points this season, which is the 7th highest amount of points in the entire NHL and the top-ranked amongst defenseman, with the current second-best being Rasmus Dahlin of the Buffalo Sabres with 62 points.

Karlsson has had a 40% success rate this season for hitting 2+ games points, in terms of odds, that’s bang on the button (+150), but where we believe we are extracting the value is tonight’s opponents, and the fact San Jose will possibly be without their second highest point scorer in Timo Meier, meaning more playmaking responsibility should fall on Karlsson’s shoulders.

The Montreal Canadiens allow 3.8 goals, which is the 4th worst in the NHL this season.
