We have a big NHL card to choose from today as there are 12 games on the board to pick and choose our spots.

We have decided the games to attack today for player props are the Montreal Canadiens vs. Minnesota Wild and a rivalry game between the Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks, despite both not being very good right now we found some amazing value in this matchup.

Halloween did the treat instead of trick for us last night as our player props went 3-0 taking us to 19-11 on the season.

Montreal Canadiens vs. Minnesota Wild

Tuesday, November 1, 2022 – 07:00 PM EDT at Xcel Energy Center

Kirill Kaprizov (Minnesota Wild)

  • Over 1.5 Points

If it ain't broke don’t fix it, that’s what we say and that approach has worked with the Minnesota Wild and Kirill Kaprizov as well as some other players throughout the past 18 months.

So far this season, we are 3-0 on Minnesota Wild player props and hoping to go 5-0 after tonight’s game. Kaprizov started off the season in red-hot form picking up pretty much where he left off last season.

Throughout the first 4 games, Kaprizov had 10 points, averaging almost 3 points per game, since then he has only picked up 3 points in his past 5 games.

We like the Wild’s chances of putting up some goals tonight as they have dominated the Canadiens on home ice in recent years scoring 8/4/7/6/3 goals each game.

This is exactly the type of game Kaprizov could go off in and we are happy to take his Over 1.5 points at NHL odds of +125.

Mats Zuccarello (Minnesota Wild)

  • Over 2.5 Shots

This is incredible value here on home ice to be getting Mats Zuccarello to see 3+ match shots at -130 when he has been averaging just over 3 shots per game throughout the season.

As you may have noticed we like to play a lot of player shots to go over the total when they have had an “off night” and this is exactly one of those situations.

Considering Zuccarello has seen over 3 shots per game on average and the fact he had zero shots last time he played along with the fact he has had two shot-less games this season, he could and probably should be averaging 4 shots per game, meaning we are technically getting a steal here even laying some juice.

By the way one of those shot-less games was against the Montreal Canadiens on October 26, less than one week ago, we don’t suspect he will go shot-less against this team twice in a row. Last season, he had 3 and 4 shots each game against the Canadiens.

Anaheim Ducks vs. San Jose Sharks

Tuesday, November 1, 2022 - 09:30 PM EDT at SAP Center

Timo Meier (San Jose Sharks)

  • Over 4.5 Shots

Over 4.5 shots might seem like a lot, especially for a guy who is on a team who last season went 32-37-13 and so far, this season is looking at a 3-8-0 record.

That being said, Timo Meier is literally the main shot guy on this team and it's clear to see why as he has 53 shots this season (the most in the league) and has taken 26 shots more than the second-highest Erik Karlsson who has 27.

Meier has been averaging almost 5 shots per game on average and has seen 4+ shots in 8 of his 11 games this season. He has been on fire lately having taken 6 shots per game in his last 4.

To top it all off, Anaheim literally has the worst shots-against record right now in the league and Meier had a solid record against them last season taking 3/5/5/9 shots per game.

Erik Karlsson (San Jose Sharks) / Troy Terry (Anaheim Ducks)

  • Over 0.5 Points

Both Erik Karlsson and Troy Terry lead their teams in points this season, and both have a similar record as Terry has picked up at least 1 point in 6 of 9 games this season along with Karlsson has done so in 6 of 11 games.

Both to see at least one point tonight as a single bet represents no value for our NHL picks as Terry is priced at -140 and Karlsson at -135.

We like the chances of both seeing a point tonight in a combo bet at +170, both have been in solid form lately with Karlsson picking up 6 points in his last 4 and Terry 4 points in his last 4.

NHL Prop Pick: Prop Parlay Karlsson and Terry Both Over 0.5 Points (+170) at the best sportsbooks
