Calgary Flames vs. New Jersey Devils

Tuesday, November 8, 2022 – 07:00 PM EST at Prudential Center

Teams Analysis

This seems like a very solid spot for the New Jersey Devils to pick up a win on home ice, they have been absolutely flying this season (top of the Metropolitan Division and 2nd in the Eastern Conference with a 9-3-0 record).

Not that they have needed him, but the Devils also have Ondrej Palat on the injured reserve right now as he has only played 6 games all season long.

The Devils come into this game having had some significant rest compared to their opponents who are on a back-to-back having played and lost to the New York Islanders in overtime.

These 2 teams faced each other on Sunday night in Calgary, the Devils came away as 4-3 winners in overtime. The Flames hold a 5-4-2 record on the season with a 1-0-1 road record.

The Moneyline Pick

With the Flames having lost back-to-back games in overtime, playing without any rest, and heading to New Jersey most likely tired and beat up, we are more than happy to take the home team to pick up the win tonight at NHL betting odds of -114.

New York Islanders vs. New York Rangers

Tuesday, November 8, 2022 - 07:00 PM EST at Madison Square Garden

Teams Analysis

Last time these teams met, the Islanders came away with a solid 3-0 win on home ice, but tonight’s situation is very different as they are not only playing in Madison Square Garden but also on a back-to-back following their 4-3 overtime win over the Flames last night.

The Rangers have 15 points so far this season, whilst the Islanders have 16, so a win for either team tonight would be significant as the Rangers can leapfrog their rivals or the Islanders can create a bigger gap to the Rangers.

The Rangers will be desperate to win here not only because the Islanders have owned them in recent games at the Garden having won 8 of the past 10, but also because the Rangers have lost 5 of their previous 6 on home ice this season and the only victory did come in an overtime win.

The Puck Line Pick

These 2 teams usually go all out when playing each other, it’s one of the best rivalries in the NHL, and 12 of the past 15 games have been decided by 2+ goals, as the losing team tends to push extra hard towards the end and more often than not losing by a bigger margin.

We believe the Rangers will get the job done on home ice tonight and love the NHL odds on them to beat their -1.5 puck line to see off their rivals by a 2+ goal margin.

Minnesota Wild vs. Los Angeles Kings

Tuesday, November 8, 2022 - 10:30 PM EST at Crypto.com Arena

Teams Analysis

The L.A. Kings have stepped up their game this season with an amazing start to their campaign picking up a 7-6-1 record and finding themselves inside a playoff spot.

Although the Minnesota Wild is 3 points behind the Kings in terms of overall points, they have played 3 games less, so they are also a team who is looking to make their way toward the top of both their division and conference.

The Kings come into tonight having won 5-4 last time out against the Panthers, whilst the Minnesota Wild is looking to get its offensive mojo back having been shut out 4-0 to the Seattle Kraken last time out.

The Total Pick

To be fair, these are a great set of odds for this game to see 6 or more goals considering these 2 teams have been averaging 6.5 goals per game combined and allowing 7.4 against per game combined.

As we stated these teams scored 13 goals just a few weeks ago in Minnesota, we believe we should get 6 on the scoreboard at the very least tonight.

We like the Over 6.5 also for around +125 at the best sportsbooks, but we are more than happy to lay this kind of juice between these 2 teams total to go Over 5.5.

NHL Pick: Over 5.5 Goals (-140) at Everygame (visit our Everygame Review)
