Now that the college basketball season is over and the NBA’s regular season is close to being so, we will focus a bit more on NHL picks.
Here are three games we like for a three-way parlay pick for Tuesday with NHL odds from BetOnline (visit our BetOnline Review), one of BMR’s top-rated sportsbooks.

Carolina is one of the most talented teams in the NHL and could win the Stanley Cup. Buffalo is one of the worst-run franchises in the sport and will miss the playoffs for the 11th straight season. So easy play on Carolina right? Not so fast, my friend.
Buffalo has been money for weeks on the puck line and is 41-29 against the spread on the season, one of the best marks in the NHL. At home, that mark is 22-14. The Hurricanes are 16-18 ATS on the road.

The Canes are expected to again be without winger Jesperi Kotkaniemi (11G, 15A) and defenseman Ethan Bear (13 points). Buffalo is about as healthy as it has been all season. Goaltender Craig Anderson has found the Fountain of Youth at age 40. He has only one regulation loss in his last eight starts, going 5-1-2 with a 2.92 goals-against average and .902 save percentage.
Before a loss to Florida on Sunday, the Sabres had at least a point in eight straight games and that’s all we need here. Buffalo played the bulk of its eight-game point streak against opponents in position to make the playoffs, including Pittsburgh, Washington, Calgary, and Nashville. This is also the Sabres’ last home game for nine days.
Carolina is 1-0 in the season series, winning 6-2 at home on Dec. 4 but that was way before the Sabres started turning their season around. The Hurricanes are 2-5 in their past seven on the road. They have won 11 straight in this series, but, again, all I care about is Buffalo losing by just a goal. Get us to overtime.
NHL Pick: Sabres +1.5 (-125) at BetOnline

While the Islanders are on a four-game winning streak, they in reality have nothing to play for because they aren’t making the playoffs after digging such a big hole early this season. The Isles are pretty good on home ice but four games under .500 on the road. Dallas is 21-9-1 at home and absolutely needs this game as it battles Nashville and Vegas (and maybe Winnipeg) for the West’s two Wild-Card spots.
New York's No. 1 goaltender Ilya Sorokin (22-14-7, 2.30 GAA, .927 SV) hasn’t played since March 27 and is not likely to return here. Thus, it should be Semyon Varlamov. That’s a downgrade in Russians as Varlamov is 9-13-2 with a 2.73 GAA and .918 SV. His road GAA is 3.18.
Dallas is hoping to get defenseman Esa Lindell (23 points, plus-5) back Tuesday after missing the past three with an upper-body injury. Goaltender Jake Oettinger has won five of his last eight starts, and he hasn't allowed more than three goals in a game in that span. He's 24-12-1 with a 2.49 GAA and a .916 save percentage in 39 outings.
New York is 4-13 in its past 17 as a road dog. Dallas is 25-9 in its past 34 as a favorite for the best sportsbooks.
NHL Pick: Stars (-130) at BetOnline

When Leon Draisaitl, Connor McDavid, and the Oilers are rolling offensively, they might be the most entertaining team in the NHL to watch. And the Oilers are rolling right now in winning four straight and scoring 22 goals in that stretch.
Draisaitl and McDavid are in a terrific battle for the NHL scoring title as McDavid leads with 105 points and Draisaitl has 101. Draisaitl also is second in the NHL (to Toronto’s Auston Matthews) with 50 goals. McDavid is on a 13-game points streak and has multiple points in 11 of the 13. He was named the NHL’s First Star last week.

Edmonton is still in the running for the Pacific Division title. San Jose is second-to-last in the Pacific and playing out the string.
Should be Mike Smith in net for the Oilers with Mikko Koskinen dealing with an illness. Smith held the Ducks to one goal on Sunday and he beat the Sharks in his lone outing against them this season, allowing two goals.
San Jose’s James Reimer relieved Kaapo Kahkonen on Saturday and allowed a goal on 15 shots. Reimer lost his lone start this year against Edmonton, allowing three goals.
The Oilers are 6-0 in their past six vs. teams with a losing record. The Sharks are 3-13 in their past 16 as home dogs.
