The Seattle Seahawks had their four-game winning streak snapped which dropped them to 6-4. The Raiders, meanwhile, snapped their three-game losing streak to win only their third game of the season.
The Seahawks will be looking to bounce back against a Raiders team that has been inconsistent all season.

Raiders Can’t Find Consistency
Josh McDaniels's Situation
A lot of the blame for the Raiders' bad season has to go to head coach Josh McDaniels. This is his second stint as a head coach and through 38 games as an NFL beach coach, he only has 14 wins.
While his secondary is a mess which has led to some very inconsistent performances by his defense, his offense is good enough to have won more than 3 out of 10 games this season.
Enough of Derek Carr
Speaking of blame, this is most likely the last season as a Raider for Derek Carr. For all the promise he showed as a young player, he simply has not been good enough.
The Raiders might have the best running back in the league in Josh Jacobs and they certainly have one of the very best wide receivers in Davante Adams. That leaves all fingers pointing to Carr and many feel rightful so.
Do the Oddsmakers Have It Right?
The line at the NFL odds for this game is somewhere between -3.5 and -4 for the Seahawks after opening at -3. That seems like a short line for a much better Seahawks team considering how both teams have been playing of late.
In my opinion, neither defense is great so this game will probably be close. The fact that it's in Seattle has me leaning with them, especially considering the Raiders' problems converting on third down this season.
Seahawks Have Been Clicking on Offense
Geno Smith's Year
For all the criticism being thrown at Carr, Geno Smith is having the opposite experience this season.
This has been a true renaissance year for Smith who until this season has had somewhat of a disappointing career. He's found a true home in Seattle and his team has been very good under his leadership.
Raiders vs. Seahawks: Game Prediction
For my NFL picks, I like the Seahawks to cover this spread because this will be a shootout. I don't trust either team on defense and if it's down to a battle of quarterbacks, I've gotta go with Smith.
The Raiders' inability to convert on third down has to be down to Carr because it's his job to make his teammates better. That's something that Smith has been able to do to the point that nobody misses the former All-Pro quarterback that he replaced.
In terms of the total, it currently sits at 47.5 with some 48s available as well. I simply can't see any scenario where this game goes under the total. For all of Carr's faults, the Raiders have real weapons and can put up points. Their offensive line should give him enough time to lead the team to 21-24 points.
I expect the Seahawks to score between 28-34 which should both cover the spread and see this game go over the 47.5 total.
