After losing to the Atlanta Falcons at home, the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-9) head to the West Coast to face Sean McVay’s team. Meanwhile, the LA Rams (7-4) are still trying to find their winning ways after losing their last three matchups. Which team will bounce back in lucky Week 13?
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. LA Rams

The Jags entered Week 12 as 1.5-point underdogs and are still the team getting the points this week. As for the Rams, they were a 2-point favorite last week and are the favorite again for this matchup. According to Heritage Sports, LA is a 12.5-point favorite over Jacksonville with the over/under at 47.5.
The Jags fell 21-14 to the Falcons last week with the under hitting for the sixth-straight game. To no surprise, Jacksonville hasn’t had the most stingy offense, in fact, they rank second to last in scoring with just 15.7 points a game.
Rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence is realizing fast that the NFL is way different from his college days. Lawrence passed for 228 yards last week, completing just 23 of 42 attempts and one touchdown. He also added another interception, making it 10 on the season thus far.
The Jags’ defense isn’t any better and ranks 25th in points allowed, averaging 25.7 per outing. And things could get worse from here as both starting linebacker Myles Jack and cornerback Shaquill Griffin missed practice this week.
The Rams lost their third straight game last Sunday, this time losing 36-28 to the Green Bay Packers. Prior to that, they had lost to the San Francisco 49ers and Tennessee Titans. Quarterback Matthew Stafford seems to be in a mid-season slump. And last week in the loss, he completed just 21 of 38 passes for 302 yards, 3 TDs, and an interception.
Still, the Rams have struggled to put points on the board over the last three weeks, putting them at No. 8 in scoring. They also aren’t too far behind the Jaguars on defense, allowing the 21st most points right now.
Beat. the. Jaguars. That seems so easy to do, right? It wasn’t for the Buffalo Bills and I’m not so sure for a struggling Stafford who has given the ball up too many times in the last three weeks, throwing five interceptions. Not to mention the fact that the defense has given up way too many points.
This Rams team is starting to be a concern and I’m not sure Stafford turns things around enough to cover a 12.5 point spread––too many mistakes on the line.
