Separately, a free pick represents a great opportunity for bettors to capitalize on in multiple ways. For instance, gaining insight into how handicappers breakdown football games to demonstrating the variety of ways to bet on football games and showcasing the many different markets that are available with any sportsbook to bet on football games.
Should I Do My Own Research Before Placing A Bet?
While BMR's professional tipsters have years of experience covering the NFL and honing their NFL picks, taking time to do your own due diligence is always advisable. This means doing your own research for a game in order to feel confident about making your bet. As well, doing your own research to find the best sportsbook that suits your needs and region is recommended.
Types of NFL Picks
One of the most popular NFL picks are, arguably, ATS picks -also known as NFL picks against the spread. Other common bets that are on-demand involve NFL picks straight up and NFL score predictions, which are equally highly sought after too.
Whatever your preferred wager type, BMR's expert NFL picks cover all these common options and more.
NFL Picks Against the Spread
The most popular of all the types of wagers available in football is the ATS bet - otherwise known as the spread bet or picks vs. the spread. And, by virtue of its popularity, there's a growing demand for access within the betting community to the best NFL picks against the spread from industry experts.
What makes betting point spreads popular is varied. To begin with, picks against the spread provide a great alternative to simple money-line bets, which focus only on the outcome of the game (i.e., which team wins). A bet on the spread involves a bet on a team to either win or lose by a predetermined number of points. Thus, often a bet on the losing team can still prove to be a winning pick against the spread if the team loses within the range of the point spread set by odds makers.
Aside from being a fun alternative wager, spread betting's popularity is largely down to its unparalleled ability to level the playing field. This becomes especially useful in matchups that feature a perceived gap in quality, talent, skill, experience and form because it creates betting value on both sides of the coin. Thus, bettors can bank on any given spread with a measure of confidence no matter the matchup. This could mean shading the underdog as the choice pick for example.
Given the many benefits and angles NFL picks against the spread provide, it's no surprise that there's a growing demand for these NFL picks within the football community.
Moneyline NFL Picks
Although NFL picks against the spread are highly sought after, columns featuring straight up NFL expert picks have their proponents too. A straight up bet is simple, straightforward and easy to make. While, in some cases, it even offers greater bang for your buck than any other kind of bet in the market. For instance, the return on investment on a massive underdog to pull off an unexpected upset can be very profitable if it wins and pays out.
Over/Under NFL Picks
Betting the total is a great substitute to money-line and point spread betting. Instead of picking a team to win or cover, the pick involves predicting the score of a game - be it the combined total game sore, first and second-half total scores or individual team totals at various intervals throughout the game. The options are endless, depending entirely on the choice sportsbook.
NFL Regular Season Betting - How Many Wins Will Your Team Have?

So, over and above, weekly NFL predictions and NFL betting picks during the actual season, they work on a steady stream of NFL content all year long, covering offseason odds markets, analyzing trade moves, previewing NFL Draft futures picks, and, even, projecting early Super Bowl picks.

Bettors will find a robust selection of free NFL picks and predictions on multiple games each and every week on our site's NFL pages, as we bring you all the NFL action for what is shaping up to be an historic, first-ever, 18-week regular campaign.
The league has long wanted to add a 17th game to the schedule and it looks like that has finally come to pass. The addition of the 17th game will impact the NFL schedule by extending the regular season into the first week of January and pushing Super Bowl LVI to mid-February.
NFL Schedule for the 2021-22 Campaign
Although the NFL schedule is typically released somewhere between April-to May, sportsbooks go to press with a slew of early football betting odds markets for bettors to sink their teeth into, including Super Bowl odds.
One of the main differences between the upcoming NFL season and those that preceded it is the addition of a 17th game to the schedule. The league confirmed the 17-game schedule in an official statement released on March 30.
The 2020 NFL schedule did not feature any international games due to Covid-19. Whether the upcoming season will see the NFL make its belated return to the United Kingdom and Mexico (4 games in London and 1 game in Mexico City) remains to be seen, but the league has said it’s keen to resume all international engagements in 2021, conditions permitting. As well, expanding the international schedule to include Berlin and Munich as potential future destinations was an idea raised by the league in March too.
