The developer of interactive software and technology for the betting and gaming industry announced the launch of Layback, a new mobile betting service under the Betfair Developers Program.
Zone4Play will offer Betfair\’s markets to punters via mobile and PDA devices. Under the agreement, it will received a share of revenues generated by users who are introduced to the Betfair exchange via the service.

Elsewhere, Caliente has gone live with the SportXction System in ten locations. The Latin America\’s gaming company owns 160 betting shops, known as Race & Sports Books, throughout Mexico, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
GIG\’s SportXction System is a software that enables sportsbooks to offer play-by-play betting service during the course of live sporting events. The system can accept wagers from the internet, handheld wireless devices, interactive televisions and standalone kiosks. GIG currently operates the SportXction System for soccer, cricket, golf, rugby, tennis, American football, basketball, snooker and darts.
