The Internet company, which last year opened an office in Las Vegas, is looking to provide the technology that would allow Nevada casinos to offer pari-mutuel betting to their customers via the telephone and Internet.
“We believe there are opportunities to work on various business initiatives with casino operators in the Nevada market,” said Charles F. Champion, Youbet.com chairman and CEO.
Insiders say that the Nevada Gaming Control Board is working to announce telephone and Internet betting within the state by the summer.
