Don’t miss our two top tennis plays for this Tuesday’s action in Paris with the players from the top half of the draw fighting for a place in the semi-finals on the women’s competition. Bookmakers Review breaks down the fixtures below and lists the best available odds from green listed bookmakers.

Ostapenko vs. Wozniacki

The world no.47 – Jelena Ostapenko – is the youngest player left in the tournament. At the age of 19, Ostapenko is going through the best moment in her career with an outstanding 28 – 12 record in 2017. Despite losing the opening set against Samantha Stosur in the previous round, the Latvian proved too strong for the 2010 French Open runner-up with 46 winners and only 34 unforced errors.

Caroline Wozniacki continues her quest for a 1st Grand Slam title. After Venus Williams defeat in the previous round, Wozniacki is the only former world no.1 remaining in competition in Paris. Taking a look now at Caroline’s campaign in Roland Garros, the world no.12 reaches this stage of the competition after a terrific 6 – 1 4 – 6 6 – 2 victory over Svetlana Kuznetsova.

Despite Caroline’s larger experience at this level, Ostapenko won all their three previous encounters. Adding to this, two of those three meetings took place a few weeks ago in Charleston and Prague. Due to Jelena’s edge over this opponent, the value is definitely on Ostapenko’s moneyline at 6/5 with Bet365 while Wozniacki is available at 39/50 with Pinnacle.

Mladenovic vs. Bacsinszky

Whenever Timea Bacsinszky steps on court in Roland Garros, she becomes a completely different player. Despite her disappointing 11 – 7 record in 2017 before this event, Bacsinszky is already in the quarter-finals after an outstanding performance against Venus Williams. Known as one of the greatest defenders in the game, Timea won 52.00% of the points played on Williams’ serve.

At the age of 24, Kristina Mladenovic is for the first time in the quarter-finals of Roland Garros. Despite her remarkable campaign in Paris, Mladenovic’s back injury continues to bother her with. Besides ending the match against Garbine Muguruza with 16 double faults, Kristina only won 43.18% of the points with her second serve.

With Mladenovic unable to serve at her best, it won’t be easy for the French to emerge victorious from this contest against such a great competitor as Bacsinszky. With this in mind, it’s impossible to find any value on Kristina’s current odds at 4/5 with Coral. On the other hand, Pinnacle offers an extremely valuable price for Timea’s victory at 53/50.
