WorldSpreads to expand in Europe

The Irish Examiner reports that the spread betting operation, which owns the Sport Spreads and Supreme Odds betting sites, is expecting to make a profit this year after losing EUR 1.6 million in 2006. WorldSpreads said expansion is underway in Greece, Spain and Hungary and it also plans to launch in Austria and Germany.
