Hills Chief Executive David Harding said the Turf TV’s deal with the Tote at a discounted rate of £2,000 per shop instead of the £6,000 normally charged constitutes preferential treatment and should cause the Competition Commission to investigate. The UK bookmaker also announced legal action against Alphameric, joint owner of Turf TV.
