After discussions with its attorneys on the foreseen impacts of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, Tribeca Tables has announced that it will no longer take US based players. The online poker solutions company has also decided to withdraw its poker room from Israel and Hong Kong.

“We are now initiating this policy and will work closely with our customers to ensure as little harm as possible to their overall business,” commented Erik Ahlberg, President of Tribeca Tables, which recently merged its activities with Tain.

“The board have taken a considerable amount of time to weigh up all of the options and sought a great deal of legal and market advice. Sadly we have no alternative. We have concluded that it is the best way forward for the company,” added Steve Cook, the company\’s European Managing Director.

According to internet reports, Golden Palace, which is one of Tribeca’s largest US-facing licensees together with Doyle’s Room, has also decided to stop taking casino bets from the US.
