Bookmakers Review breaks down the fixtures below and lists the best available odds from green listed bookmakers.

Ferrer vs. Berdych
Looking to the matches scheduled for this Monday on the men’s competition, the contest between David Ferrer and Tomas Berdych clearly deserves a closer look.
Ferrer loves this event and his record proves it with 43 victories and just 14 losses throughout his career. It has been a very solid tournament from Ferrer, with the Spaniard incredibly strong on return to serve – winning 55.8% of the games played on his opponents’ serve.

The last weeks haven’t been easy for Tomas Berdych, who is currently without coach after firing Dani Vallverdu a few weeks ago. Berdych reaches this stage of the competition after a tremendous victory over Pablo Cuevas, in a match where the Czech recovered from a set down to book a place on this match.

These two players know each other well with 14 previous encounters between them and even though Ferrer’s 8 – 6 lead on h2h, it was Berdych who won their most recent meeting in Madrid. However, the conditions are much slower this time and with Ferrer playing at such good level, the Spaniard deserves to be priced as favourite for this contest at 18/25 on Pinnacle Sports while Berdych can be found at 11/10 on Bet365.

Goffin vs. Gulbis
One of the highlights of the day goes to the contest between David Goffin and the 2014 French Open semi-finalist, Ernest Gulbis.

Gulbis was very fortunate in the previous round against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, with the French retiring from the match when he was already leading by 5 – 2 on the opening set. The serve has been Gulbis biggest weapon throughout this event, with the Latvian winning 94.1% of his service games.

Even though Goffin needed a 5th set to defeat Nicolas Almagro in the previous round, the Belgian was just too strong on the decisive set, not facing a single break point and allowing only 4 winners to such an aggressive player like Almagro.

This will be the third meeting between these two players, with Goffin winning the last they played last year in Madrid. Gulbis needs to win a high % of free points on serve to be successful however, not only is he facing a tremendous returner but the game conditions should be quite slow due to the rain and for that reason, Goffin is the clear favourite for this match at 9/25 on Coral while Gulbis is offered at 21/10 on William Hill.
