Putera Sampoerna, the head of the family that sold its controlling stake in Indonesian cigarette maker Sampoerna to tobacco giant Philip Morris for $2billion, is trying to create a chain of top flight casinos.
Mr. Sampoerna is understood to have acquired two casinos in St Petersburg and Moscow and to hold a controlling stake in Mansion, an online betting exchange.
