The online poker website, which promised to return a 40% share of its profits to players\’, was shut down in November 2005, just few months after it took off, by Excapsa, when according to the lawsuit, it appeared that more action was heading over to PokerShare than to the network preferred room, UltimateBet.

As Excapsa is seriously considering an IPO on the London Stock Exchange that could be worth up to 200 £million, PokerShare has filed a lawsuit citing that the actions of Excapsa and UltimateBet, especially the removal of usage rights to the software and technology that had been agreed upon between the rooms, as being the prime reason why the site was forced to cease activity.
