The leading developer of wireless platform software for the gaming industry has signed an exclusive five-year license agreement with GTS, a UK-based software solutions provider, whose catalogue of white label applications includes games of skill, games of chance and challenge based games.

Under the agreement, GTS will provide its impressive list of clients who are already established on the internet to offer end users their games and other offerings in a wireless format that, thanks to Phantom Fiber, can be enjoyed globally on more than 1000 different kinds of cell phones and other handheld devices. The business terms of the agreement are based on a revenue participation model in which both parties will share in the revenue generated from mobile players.

“Fixed odds games such as scratch cards and lottery tickets, as well as virtual games, such as horse racing and boxing, are extremely popular on the Internet. Capitalizing on this growing trend, GTS Plc\’s management team is able to deliver unique soft gambling games that are so well done that they enhance play far beyond the competition and keep players loyal. In the hyper-competitive global gambling industry, this gives GTS Plc\’s clients a valuable edge. Now we can give them an even greater edge: adding in Phantom Fiber\’s Advanced Wireless Platform,” said Jeff Halloran, President and CEO of Phantom Fiber.

“The audience for mobile games and gambling is growing rapidly. Add to that the wider acceptance of mobile gaming globally and the momentum seen from the industry itself – which includes device manufacturers, wireless network providers and service providers. All this led us to recognize that the time was right to help our clients expand their existing businesses with a mobile offering. The synergies blended perfectly and it was almost immediately clear that the decision to partner with Phantom Fiber was the right one. Phantom Fiber\’s Advanced Wireless Platform is so vastly superior to any thing now available, their wireless software solutions so far ahead that we can be confident our clients will benefit continuously from the broadest device support. We foresee a many rewarding opportunities ahead and look forward to working with Phantom Fiber to achieve our mutual mobile objectives,” commented Steven Matsell Director of Business Development for GTS.

Earlier last week, Gaming Corporation, owner of both Gambling.com and Casino.co.uk, announced that Orange, one of the largest mobile operators in the UK, has increased the marketing of the Casino.co.uk mobile casino to its substantial Orange World customer base. The marketing of the mobile casino moved out of the soft launch phase and has been pushed on the Orange World homepage in an evening slot. During this phase of additional marketing, registrations have increased by 50% on an average week. The conversion rate to real money players remains high at 15% with the average net drop per player remaining at £300. Justin Drummond, CEO of Gaming Corporation commented, “The increased exposure is a very positive move for the service. It affirms both parties commitment to the service and is responsive to the desires of the customers. By further marketing our Casino.co.uk mobile casino, we continue to grow the user base above first year forecasts.”
