With some big matches this weekend with teams playing each other that are chasing for a final Champions League spots this is a huge weekend for Manchester United to capitalise and they can take full advantage with a win at home to West Brom on Saturday.
Jose Mourino\’s side are emerging as “the”main contenders for a top four finish with games in hand against their rivals and they are finishing the season on a real high after just two losses in their last 30 matches.
The big thing for United is that the “Special One” has made Old Trafford a fortress again with their last defeat at the beginning of September against Manchester rivals City, and they won\’t be losing this one either.
Green listed bookmakers aren\’t taking many chances on United though which is a shame for smaller players as they are just 1.40 with William Hill for the win, which will shorten before kick-off.
West Brom arrive here in poor away form winning just once in their last eight matches and I can\’t see them turning their fortunes around as for the remainder of the season the visitors have very little to play for apart from prise.
Tony Pulis will not accept any downing of tools from his side and he will take some hope of a win knowing that his side have won twice in the last three visits to Old Trafford, but I can\’t really see that continuing at the weekend.
In five of the last six meetings between these two sides both sides have failed to score and that is on my betradar again at 1.72 with BetVictor, but the best bet in the game is for United to win to nil which is 2.30 with Ladbrokes. Mourinho had a habit of winning to nil at Chelsea and he\’s started to do the same at Old Trafford with his side not conceding in eight of their last 10 home matches and that is certainly the best bet again in this one.
United cruised to a 2-0 win at Hawthorns in the reverse fixture in December and if you like a bigger price then another 2-0 win looks the best correct-score option again at 7.00 with BetVictor.
