The second section of the Civil Court in Rome has ordered to take the Malta-based bookmaker off the list of the websites blocked with the AAMS\’ decree.
Effecrtive February 24, over 600 online bookmakers not in possesion of an Italian concession, have been denied access to the Italian internet networks.
Marco Ripamonti and Sandro Guerra, lawyers for Astrabet, said the ruling might be extended to other Maltese-licensed bookmakers.
Astrabet said in a statement that Italy and other EU countries should look at establishing regulatory bodies such as the Malta\’s Lotteries and Gaming Authority, but under the control of the EU.
