Lord Faulkner of Worcester, the chairman of the inquiry by the All Party Parliamentary Group on Betting & Gaming into the effects of betting on sport, will present the report at a press conference on Wednesday 9 February.
The press conference will be held at 10.30 a.m. at the House of Lords offices.
Lord Faulkner of Worcester was a key member of the joint Lords and Commons committee that last year examined the government’s plans for gambling reform and gave them the go-ahead with only minor changes.
Recently, his connections with a company that lobbies on behalf of three giant American casino operators have brought concerns over a potential conflict of interest.
