Gamebookers bonus complaints

30-11-2007: While one of the Gamebookers customers who earlier in November had his account confiscated reported to have had his account re-opened after contacting the Alderney Gambling Commission, Bookmakers Review received a new bunch of complaints against the PartyGaming-owned bookmaker. This time, multiple players have been denied participation into a Double Your Winnings promotion, with each player receiving a different excuse depending on who they talked to.
One of the players who was accepted into the promotion, which promised to double the stakes up to £25, was lated denied his winnings when the bookmaker said the promotion simply offered to double the winnings up to £25.
When we visited the CAP Euro conference in October, a PartyGaming manager said she wanted to hear all the complaints about Gamebookers and PartyBets. While we thought that hearing the complaints was meant to try to solve them, the PartyGaming manager offered absolutely no help to fix them except some ridicolous statement about how they will get better in the future.
Gamebookers and PartyBets downgraded to 3+ (3.5-)
UPDATE 07-01-2008: Player reports to have been paid on the “Double your winnings” promotion shortly after he contacted the Alderney Gambling Commission.
