London\’s gambling stocks showed mixed reactions following news on the last-minute compromise deal which will get the Gambling Bill passed into law before the legislature is dissolved ahead of the May 5 general election.
BetInternet lost 2.56%.
London Clubs International added 4.85% despite a warning of lower profits.
Paddy Power added 2.23%.
Sportech (Littlewoods BetDirect) up 2.50%.
Sportingbet lost 3.15%.
Stanley Leisure gained 3.09%.
The Rank Group (Blue Square) finished down 1.38%.
William Hill slipped 1.24%.
