BMR suspends Interwetten rating coverage

In November 2007, Interwetten deactived BMR\’s affiliate account. While we were assured that we would have continued to receive payments for the players we sent them for 12 months after the suspension of the contract, a month later Interwetten reneged on the agreement and stopped communicating.
We have recently noticed they changed the rules in their standard affiliate agreement (the same we had with them) and removed the following statement: “If Interwetten terminates the agreement, affiliate commissions, in the amount of 50% of the percentage rate originally agreed, shall be continued to be paid to the affiliate a full year from the date of termination…”.
As a matter of principle we decided to take legal action against them, thus the suspensions of their rating coverage.UPDATE 26-02-2008: I still think of Interwetten as a good recreational bookmaker, but then again I\’ve got to wonder about a company who is willing to steal from its partners just like that. Would they do that to players?
