Further to the announcement made by the company on October 12 in relation to the passage of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 in the USA, Betcorp has suspended its US operations with immediate effect. The company will continue to seek clarification of the impact of the Act on the group\’s existing US customers and service providers, and the steps that the company can take to achieve an orderly exit from this market. Betcorp continues to trade normally with customers in Europe and the rest of the world.
