According to eGaming Review, the two poker sites are looking to consolidate liquidity levels in the wake of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. The merger is expected to create one of the top three or four largest poker sites in the world, with a strong presence on the US market.
In Gibraltar, a source close to 888 told eGaming Review that the online casino\’s merger talks with PartyGaming were a “bit of an open secret”, but they have not progressed any further than a “coffee and a chat”.
