There are upsets every single week in college football, and that is where bettors tend to find the most value. While huge money line upsets are not as frequent, the payouts can be massive with just how far the spread is.

For example in Week 4, Arkansas pulled off a shocking 20-10 win against Texas A&M and N.C. State held firm at home as they upset Clemson, 27-17. Looking ahead to Week 6 NCAAF odds, there are quite a few massive underdogs that would be seismic upsets should they win.

Here is a look at our best-upset NCAAF picks for Week 6 and the best sportsbook to bet with this week. . While these are not likely to hit, there is some value to consider given the prices.

Oklahoma Sooners vs. Texas Longhorns

Saturday, October 09, 2021 – 12:00 PM EDT at Cotton Bowl

We’re looking at two of the most extreme betting profiles in the country. Oklahoma has covered just once in five games, and Texas is 4-1 ATS. Either this line is too bullish on Texas’ ability to perform against a top team, or missing that Texas is just as good as the overrated Sooners. I see Oklahoma as an overrated team benefitting from preseason expectations.

Texas has the best rusher in the nation and a young core of defenders capable of creating turnovers. Spencer Rattler has been fine, but not a star this year. That must change to avoid the rivalry upset on the road.

Penn State Nittany Lions vs. Iowa Hawkeyes

Saturday, October 09, 2021 - 04:00 PM EDT at Kinnick Stadium

I doubted Iowa in the preseason and still sort of do. They have no passing game whatsoever, but it’s not by choice. The defense ranks second in scoring and shutdown quality talent in Iowa State and Maryland. But Penn State has much more athleticism than anyone Iowa has faced.

For my college football pick, I think the Nittany Lions are hitting their stride. Much like how Week 1 against Wisconsin went, I see a close, low-scoring game. Penn State pulls this one out on the road for nice value.

Michigan Wolverines vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers

Saturday, October 09, 2021 - 06:30 PM EDT at Memorial Stadium

This game opened as a seven-point line in favor of Michigan, but the Nebraska record ATS (5-1) has earned them considerable respect. I don’t see it. Nebraska has an improved defense and has finally learned to play to their strengths, but this Michigan team wins in the trenches with ease against lesser foes.

Nevertheless, this could be a huge home upset for Nebraska if they force Cade McNamara to win the game for Michigan. He’s had an easy go thanks to their elite rushing attack. I’ll take Michigan, but do see the formula for the upset.
