Each week we take one last look at the college football odds to note where the lines have moved from the openers. Let’s peruse the best value on the board and keep cashing our last-chance picks.

Indiana vs. Maryland

Saturday, October 30, 2021 – 12:00 PM EDT at Maryland Stadium

Maryland opened as a 6.5 point home favorite over the Hoosiers but that line has tumbled just enough to make this an appetizing play. As of this writing, the Terps are laying 5.5 points pretty much across the board at all the top sportsbooks, and getting under an important number (6), makes this a value bet for us.

Maryland’s offense has been frozen over their last three games but it’s not all that surprising considering two of those three contests came against No. 5 Iowa and No. 7 Ohio State. However, last week they went into Minnesota as 4-point road underdogs and the offense was once again paralyzed in their 34-16 defeat.

But let’s not mistake the team they are facing on Saturday with the three mentioned above. The Hoosiers are ripe for the picking here as they enter on a five-game losing streak, having scored an average of 7.3 points per game over their last three.

The Terps will get well this week and will win this one by double digits.

Texas vs. Baylor

Saturday, October 30, 2021 - 12:00 PM EDT at McLane Stadium

Here we have a small but significant dip in the line as the Bears were initially installed as 3.5 point favorites but that number has fallen below the all-important 3 down to a 2.5 spread as of this Friday’s morning writing.

That’s a number worth taking in this spot as Baylor has looked impressive over their last pair of performances with wins over West Virginia (45-20) and BYU (38-24).

The Bears’ offense is clicking and should be able to move the chains consistently against a Texas defense that has been lit up for a combined 77 points over their last two outings. Baylor has a very good defense, ranked 20th in the nation, allowing 18.7 points per game, while their offense checks in at No. 14, scoring 38.3 points per contest.

But let’s not forget that Texas has a well-equipped offense as well and both teams enjoy a rushing attack that is among the best in the nation with Baylor averaging 239.3 rushing yards per game versus 229.9 for the Longhorns. It’s a fairly even game but Baylor does everything just a little bit better than Texas and has some mojo heading into conference showdown, as well as the home-field advantage.

Virginia vs. BYU

Saturday, October 30, 2021 - 10:15 PM ET at LaVell Edwards Stadium

BYU might be ranked 25th in the nation but if you ask me, Virginia is the better of these 6-2 squads. The bettors certainly prefer the Cavaliers as they have covered in six of their eight opportunities while the Cougars have been disappointing at the windows with a 3-5 ATS mark.

In this matchup, we see that the line has moved from BYU -2 to -2.5 at most of the shops out there but Intertops (visit our Intertops Review) has hit the magic number, making BYU three-point home chalk and that’s when it is time for us to pounce on the live road dog here.

Virginia has won four consecutive games by an average score of 40-25 and they should be up for the task in this one. There is one noticeable advantage for the Cavaliers and that comes via their passing game as they are ranked 2nd in the nation averaging 404.6 yards per game and will be facing a Cougars defense that surrenders nearly 240 yards per game.

Four our last NCAAF pick, I believe the game will be won or lost through the air and my money is on the visitors in this spot with one of the most potent aerial attacks in the nation.

NCAAF Pick: Virginia +3 (-110) at Intertops
