We knew that Week 6 was going to be chaotic for college football, and we will see another week of chaos shortly after. No one truly knows who the legitimate teams in the sport are, and that is bringing plenty of wild games and NCAFF odds.
Oklahoma had the comeback of the year against Texas. Ole Miss and Arkansas came down to the last second. An unranked Texas A&M shocked Alabama at night. Any single one of these games would have been enough to make this an exciting weekend.
Two undefeated SEC teams will face off. Alabama will try to bounce back against Mississippi State. LSU has a chance to upset Florida at home, and these are just in the SEC. Plenty of teams have their backs against the wall, and they need strong performances to prove that they belong in the College Football Playoff conversation.
So, what are the top best bets to place this weekend? We have one of every type. We’ll start with the traditional spread, but then we’ll look at the money line and over/under for this exciting week of college football.
Kentucky Wildcats vs. Georgia Bulldogs
Saturday, October 16, 2021 – 3:30 PM EDT at Sanford Stadium
Georgia has proven that they are currently the best team in college football. They began the year with a win against Clemson, and they have yet to slow down. However, Kentucky has been one of the most underrated teams in college football. Despite some close calls, they remain undefeated. They have a scrappy defense, and they’ve proven that they can win close games.
Georgia is the better team, but I think this line is too high. The Wildcats realize that a win in this game could send them to the SEC Championship. They’ll be motivated to pull off the program-changing upset, and that might keep it close.
Georgia has question marks at quarterback with J.T. Daniels’ injury history. If he plays, he might not be fully healthy. While this won’t be enough for Georgia to lose, it might keep them from finishing some drives. Despite playing at home, expect the Bulldogs to struggle a bit early. With all of this, I see the Wildcats covering the spread barely.

Ole Miss Rebels vs. Tennessee Volunteers
Saturday, October 16, 2021 -7:30 PM EDT at Neyland Stadium
Ole Miss and Tennessee have quality offenses, and their defenses have struggled so far this year. Both teams have hit the over in most of their games, but that does not guarantee an 80-point game on Saturday.
This kind of spread suggests that both offenses will be firing on all cylinders. A 42-38 game would barely If cover the spread, and I don’t have faith that both teams will be firing on all cylinders like that. Tennessee is an inconsistent team, and Ole Miss proved against Alabama that they won’t always get points on the board.
This could be a shootout, but this will be one of the highest spreads of the week. With two teams that have proven to be inconsistent at times, this game could be low-scoring compared to the total.

Auburn Tigers vs. Arkansas Razorbacks
Saturday, October 16, 2021 - 12:00 PM EDT at Razorback Stadium
When you look for a money line, you want to find value. I try to find NCAAF picks that have positive odds with a solid chance of hitting. If you pick bets with more money invested than you can earn, you need to add it to a parlay.
That’s why I like this Auburn line. The Tigers didn’t look good against Georgia, but no one has yet this season. Arkansas looked great at the start of the year, but they have struggled since a few big wins. This combination is having people overvalue the Razorbacks and undervalue the Tigers.
Auburn has question marks, but they have what it takes to upset almost any team in the country. Arkansas has to prove that they can bounce back from a tough loss. While Arkansas deserves to be favored in this game, this money line has value if you are willing to take a risk on Bo Nix and the Auburn Tigers.
