Baylor Bears vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys

Saturday, December 4, 2021 – 12:00 PM EST at AT&T Stadium

This Big 12 showdown should be a dandy but let’s remember that it is being played at a neutral site, in Baylor’s home state of Texas no less, which is a rookie mistake that many will make when evaluating the college football odds on this game. Baylor is No. 8 in the nation as they prepare to throw down with the seventh-ranked Cowboys and the oddsmakers are giving us plenty of incentive to side with the underdog in this one.

And while it is true Oklahoma State handed Baylor its first loss of the season in a 24-14 defensive battle back on October 2nd, the Bears will be looking to avenge that loss. This should be another low-scoring grind where the defenses shine, as they did in their last meeting.

The oddsmakers are giving Baylor a 5 ½ point head start but we are going to toss those points to the wind and grab the juice on the money line with Baylor. The Bears beat No. 8 Oklahoma a few weeks ago and will take care of their neighbors on Saturday.

Utah Utes vs. San Diego State Aztecs

Saturday, December 4, 2021 - 3:00 PM EST at Dignity Health Sports Park

The Mountain West Conference is front and center as the Aggies of Utah State invade Carson to take on the 11-1 San Diego State Aztecs. There’s no doubt the Aggies can score in bunches as evidenced by their 39th ranked offense, averaging 32.3 points per game. But the counter to that is that San Diego State’s defense is one of the best in the nation, checking in at No. 9 and allowing only 17.3 points per game.

And knowing that the Aztecs have been successful with defense as their fulcrum, while their offense has been serviceable enough to get the job done, we should note that Utah State has had offensive lapses in three games this season. And it just so happens that they all occurred in their three losses, two of which came when they were underdogs to Boise State and BYU.

San Diego State is another heavy hitter that will likely shut down the Aggies offense and keep this one played between the 20s. Let’s go low in our college football picks here.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Georgia Bulldogs

Saturday, December 4, 2021 - 4:00 PM EST at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Okay, so this is pretty much done or die for the Tide as they enter with one loss on their record and a second here could spell an exit from the College Football Playoff. The oddsmakers are giving them 6 ½ points at most shops but we found a +7 over at YouWager (visit our YouWager Review) and that’s why it always pays to have multiple outs. Hooks can mean the difference between a push and a loss so make sure you take advantage of every angle.

I like the Tide in this one because Nick Saban has so much big-game experience he could fill a dozen coaching rooms with it and still be looking for more. Naturally, the masses will be attracted to Georgia after Bama eked out a 24-22 victory against unheralded Auburn and took four overtimes to do it.

Regardless, I think that narrow win will be a huge boon to the Tide’s intensity on Saturday and they have a Heisman Trophy candidate pulling the trigger in Bryce Young. Let’s grab the generous head start with Saban’s crew and cash a ticket!
