NCAAB Pick: Ohio State vs. Wisconsin – Under 131 (–110) at BetOnline (visit our BetOnline Review)

Picks Summary:
- Ohio State vs. Wisconsin – Under 131 (–110)
- Minnesota vs. Nebraska – Under 134.5 (–110)
Both of the Big Ten Tournament matchups on Wednesday’s NCAAB odds board should go under, even if the sharps have pounded those totals.
The Big Ten is all up in your area. College basketball’s premier conference is about to declare a champion.
The 2023 Big Ten Tournament launches this Wednesday in Chicago with two opening-round battles featuring the Nos. 11-14 seeds, but don’t brush them off – these are all big-name programs and any of them could end up winning the title.
Okay, maybe not Minnesota. The No. 14 Golden Gophers (8-21 SU, 12-15-2 ATS) have been truly awful this year, as they have endured their worst season since the end of the John Kundla Era in the late 1960s.
But every other team in the Big Ten has a legitimate shot at glory, even the other first-round teams in action this Wednesday at the United Center.
Do any of them belong in our college basketball picks? Let’s investigate.

Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Wisconsin Badgers
Wednesday, March 8, 2023 – 06:30 PM EST at United Center
This should be a good one. The No. 12 Badgers (17-13 SU, 13-16-1 ATS) opened as 1-point puppies on the NCAAB odds board at Bookmaker.
There might be a smidge of value on the No. 13 Buckeyes (13-18 SU, 11-20 ATS), even though they’re the lower seed, but we’re hitting the under 132.5-point total instead currently available at BetOnline.
Why Bet the Under?
That’s where the money is. The potential profit margin for the under is big enough to recommend the standard single-unit wager… wait a moment… nope, it’s gone.
The sharps have swooped in just as I write this and gobbled up all the value, driving the total down to 131.
The under is still the right choice, but only for a fun-sized bet now that the early birds are done feeding. The projections we’re studying here at the ranch have Ohio State winning by 65 or 66 points to Wisconsin’s 64, so there’s still more wiggle room with the total than the point spread.
This should still be a great game, though – catch it on the Big Ten Network if you can.
Wisconsin took their regular-season matchup 65-60 (under 132) on February 2 as 7.5-point road dogs, and they’ll be on neutral ground this Wednesday, but Ohio State has cashed in three straight times after breaking their extended nine-game losing streak SU and ATS.

Minnesota Golden Gophers vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers
Wednesday, March 8, 2023 – 09:00 PM EST at United Center
Wednesday’s nightcap has Minnesota playing the sacrificial lamb to the No. 11 Cornhuskers (16-15 SU, 13-18 ATS), who have held steady as 6-point favorites at Bookmaker since the open.
Once again, though, the under is the right choice for your NCAAB picks, and once again, the sharps have knocked the total down from 135 to 134.5 in early betting.
Why Bet the Under?
Same reason as before – except this time, there’s still enough betting value left for a one-unit wager, with Nebraska projected to win somewhere around 69-63.
This could be a closer game than advertised, mind you. The Cornhuskers did win both their regular-season games, but they had to split the cash; Minnesota (+2.5 at home) took them to overtime on January 7 before losing 81-79. The ‘Huskers dominated the February 25 rematch 78-67 as 7.5-point home faves.
Both those games went over, which is concerning – they didn’t even need extra time to get there back in January, either.
This is Champ Week, though, and this is also one of the larger totals these Big Ten clubs have seen all year, so bet accordingly, and may the sphere be with you.
