The Golden State Warriors look to bounce back from a disappointing loss on Saturday night when they head to Indiana to take on the Pacers.
Indiana has won three straight but knows tonight will be a lot tougher as Golden State will be looking to secure a win in order to keep pace in the Western Conference. Let’s take a look at the NBA odds and decide which way to lean at top betting sites.

Warriors Looking to Keep Pace
As good as the Golden State Warriors have been this season, Saturday night's loss to the Sixers leaves them in second place in the Western Conference. They only trail the Suns by a half-game but it gives you an idea just how competitive things are out west right now. Admittedly, it is more of a two-horse race although Utah will probably have something to say about that.
Nonetheless, Golden State is back to championship form and will be looking to get back on the winning track tonight in Indiana. The Warriors are -4.5 point favorites on the road which is a very sharp number.
Golden State may want to get back on track but the Pacers have won three in a row and are significantly better at home, especially offensively. This won’t be an easy one for Stephen Curry and company although I do think they get the win tonight. The Warriors are 17-8-1 against the spread (ATS) while the Pacers sport a 14-13-1 record against the number.
Over Has Value in This Match-up
The total for this game is 215 points and I’ll be taking the under here. Indiana beat the Mavs in their last but it was no thanks to their offense. They shot 41% from the field but the reality is, that game was tied in the 4th quarter until the Pacers went on an 11-2 round to separate themselves for good.
I think Indiana know that they can’t win a shootout against this Warriors team. Even if they wanted to go that route, Golden State have the best defense in the league so they don’t have much of a choice. To beat this Warriors team, you’ve got to match their defensive intensity. When I look for advantages for the Pacers, I don’t really see any.
Draymond Green won’t shut down Domantas Sabonis but he can certainly make him work. Other than that, Golden State are well equipped to handle anything that the Pacers can throw their way. With all of that in mind, the main reason I’m taking the under here is that I can see a scenario where the Pacers fail to score 100 points tonight.
One misconception about the Warriors is when things go wrong, they look to fix it with the offense. The Warriors built a championship team through the defense. They were ranked number one in that category when they won their first title and that’s been the blueprint for this group.
I think the Warriors can score less than 110 tonight and still walk away with a win here. Indiana’s home success this season is built on offense. Their defensive splits are very similar home and away.
It’s their offense that really flourishes on their home court and Golden State will be well aware of that. For your NBA picks, look for the Warriors to put the clamps on this Pacers offense to help us cash the under.
