Detroit Pistons vs. Milwaukee Bucks

Monday, October 31, 2022 – 08:00 PM EDT at Fiserv Forum

Pistons Prop Bet: Cade Cunningham

  • Over 33.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists

The Detroit Pistons head to Milwaukee to take on the team playing the best basketball in the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been putting up MVP-like numbers, and he will probably have another big game tonight. On the other side, the Detroit Pistons have their own up-and-coming superstar who has been filling up the stat sheet as well.

Cade Cunningham was last year's number one overall pick and he blossomed into an All-Star caliber player towards the end of last season. He is taking that momentum into this year and has stepped his game up to another level.

This season he’s averaging 22.6 points per game, 6.7 assists per game, and 6.1 rebounds per game. Looking at his PRA numbers over the last 3 games he has totaled 40, 52, and 42. The books have set this low number that we will take advantage of.

Yes, the Bucks do play great defense, and Giannis will be able to slow down Cade if necessary. Yet in a game with a 12.5-point spread, this game might not be close enough for Milwaukee to employ its full-pressure defense.

If the game script plays out in an easy Bucks to win as I anticipate, the Pistons should get plenty of run against a big deficit. In a game that I expect to go up and down the floor, this is a great opportunity for Cade to have another big night, even in a blowout loss. Our first prop for tonight's Halloween action is Cade Cunningham Over 33.5 points, rebounds, and assists.

Indiana Pacers vs. Brooklyn Nets

Monday, October 31, 2022 - 07:30 PM EDT at Barclays Center

Nets Prop Bet: Kyrie Irving

  • Under 29.5 Points

Once again Kyrie Irving is the source of controversy in Brooklyn. Are you surprised? I am not.

Yes, Kyrie Irving is averaging 30.5 points per game this season. This team did just play the Pacers in Brooklyn and Irving put up a cool 35 points. That is coming off the heels of a 39-point performance against Dallas. In fact, he's only gone under this number 2 of the 6 games he's played this season.

So why are we playing the Under here? With concerns around the team featuring Irving, I will not be surprised to see a mellow performance from Kyrie tonight. Regardless of what he says in the media, he is affected by off-court stuff, and he has been inconsistent in his time in Brooklyn.

The Nets will probably use their bigger options such as Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons in order to generate offense against the lowly Pacers tonight. While Irving has had a spectacular season so far, I expected a muted performance from him tonight in wake of all the controversy. Our second NBA prop bet is Kyrie Irving Under 29.5 points.

Sacramento Kings vs. Charlotte Hornets

Monday, October 31, 2022 - 07:00 PM EDT at Spectrum Center

Kings Prop Bet: Kevin Huerter

  • Over 13.5 Points

In the offseason, the Sacramento Kings made a move for shooting guard Kevin Huerter. The idea was to put more shooting around De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis to give them more space to work on offense. Although the Kings haven't been impressive in the win column, they have put up plenty of points and the move seems to have helped the Kings two stars.

Tonight the Kings head to Charlotte to take on a Hornets team that is light on defense and high in pace. In a game with a total of 233, this bodes well for over props. Huerter is going over this number 3 of his 5 games this season, including a 27-point outburst in a 38-minute performance against Miami. Kevin Huerter's increased minutes have led to an increase in production.

As the season continues, Kevin Huerter has put himself above the Kings' 2nd shooting guard, Malik Monk. With the pressure to win now with the roster they've created, Kings' head coach Mike Brown needs to do everything in order to have his best players on the floor. This will translate to more opportunities for Huerter.

The Kings have had a tough schedule to start, but now have a very winnable game against a Charlotte team that's not 100% healthy. I expect them to go all out which means giving their best players the most minutes. This increased usage will translate to increased production from Huerter. Following our NBA odds, our final prop for Halloween is Kevin Huerter Over 13.5 points.
